What's the Radio Control Range on this plane? I'm currently searching for a plane and am looking for as much info as possible, but noticed that Nitroplanes didn't supply an answer for me there. Great flying btw.

Seems to fly better than the Hawk Sky but I can't imagine it would survive a crash as well. Speaking of which would I be able to buy a kit only version of the Hawk Sky?
@rcflight13 Ihave come to love my hawk sky. It needs more roll authority and power than comes in the box, though. Also this plane has the motor mounted directly in line with the wing and the HS's motor is much higher. This makes hand launching tricky throttle-wise. The Hawksky can take a bigger motor and is much more rigid than this plane. Theres a nice FAT carbon rod in the wing of the Hawksky. Also the HS is a decent glider and will thermal where the WingDragon probably won't.
@catamaranman333 I was flying the other day when I got caught in a thermal and wouldn't let go, I was on full dive and it was still going up! Worse still I couldn't throttle up because my cheap Dynam 4ch 2.4ghz system kept cutting out.
Nice one Tony and i can highly recommend this plane as i started on one of these but when i got one a couple of years ago it was a yellow one and didn't have 2.4ghz or brushless on them then ;-( but still a top plane and i've still got my old one and might upgrade it to the motor and ESC from this one ;-) i use to hand launch and belly land mine without any problems = thumbs up.
Looks like a great beginner-intermediate level plane... except for one thing: it doesn't look like it can handlea crash well at all... even with the motor in the back. It looks like the tailboom would snap and the front nose would be completely impossible to rebuild if it was nosed-in to the ground.
@thechoosendude not true mate i started on one of these a couple of years back and i had a couple of crashes and it survived every one ;-) but when my other half had a go she did managed to break the prop some how but it would take a hell of a Lot to break that tail boom mate as it's a very strong metal and the nose and front part is all a very strong plastic,i know it sounds bad but it all works really well thats why they have been selling these planes for years and just keep updating them ;-)
Hey Tony, I was wondering if you can get your hands on the P-47 thats going to be coming out soon. Ive been drooling over the thing for ever now and I just want to know if its going to be worth it. Item#: AirField-P47-1400MM-RTF on NitroPlanes
My p40 came yesterday took less than an hour to complete; drove to the flying field got half way there and a huge storm hit...Try again tomorrow. I was going to rip out the stock 2 cell ESC but it can really only fit a 2cell battery (too lazy to modify the fuselage). Video on my other channel "Notaneggspert" soon.

Tell your video editor to run the audio through a high pass filter to remove the wind.
