It looks like with the language you are using does not bring no one glory. The creativity is compromising the song. The person who wrote the lyrics and music did not intent it so sound that way. The Lord is Holy and the music needs to sound conservative the way it was wrote. I am only expressing my opinion. Just play the hymn just the way it is.

@MrJaapKooiman What he is trying to say that the song is written in 4part harmony. Music's metered for reason. Nothing absolutely is wrong with creativity, he plays very well. Therefor, the melodic structure of the music must be preserved. What seperates this musician from real well trained musicians is that he cannot play the same piece exactly, same way repeatedly.

Ryhthmn, harmony, pitch tempo and melody....there a reason they have always been referred to as as elements of music.
