I had calcific tendonitis in my right shoulder which got progressively worse over a period of about two years. The pain became agonizing. After trying a number of treatments which didn't seem to work, I finally had it operated on arthroscopically. It was a miraculous release from constant pain. I never tried shockwave therapy though. I'm wondering if it really works for severe cases.
