@val8585 You have to pass your ASVAB before you can officially sign up for the Army. You will not finish your processing if you do not pass the ASVAB. If you fail it then you have to wait another 30 days in order to take it. Once you pass then you continue your processing through MEPS and get your orders all squared away. Once you sign the official documentation or get sworn in, then you are officially in the Army. And then you will recieve your orders for where your going to basic.
my other questions is if someone has other things that are going on while you go to basic training like do they send you right away after meps or what man or how long is it before u go 1 more Question what if iam waiting on a Case with a Lawyer and iam in basic what happands when you have things like that going on

@val8585 Sorry for the late reply I've been really busy. You've probably already been to meps by now, but as far as the whole ASVAB thing, if Im not mistaken if you fail it you can retake it after 30 days if your not satisfied with your scores. So I wouldn't worry too much about that. But honestly the test isn't really hard at all. You should be fine.
@koolaidjammers.just graduated and got my phone.so...they usually ask health related questions at the recruiters station as well as at meps. They pretty much go off of what you tell them. So if you say your over it then your over it, but if you collapse at basic after a roadmarch because you can't breath that's on you. Either way you wont have to worry because there are no cats at basic lol

@SADxBOY1 i don't think that would stop you from joining but im not sure. theres people that have had waivers for felony's so it should be alright. i'd ask a recruiter about it though. but just make sure that even if it was from juvi years u tell em cause even if they were erased they can still check em. you might be limited to what jobs you qualify for though. some jobs require a security clearance and you might not be able to work those jobs but if you want like combat you will get that prob

I'm guessing it's because they are from the area. I'm not really sure. But either way, you have to do the ASVAB before you get processed.
im going tomorrow to charlotte and friday i will be going through meps. this video really helped me chill out. only thing not to happy about is the pee test. im 17 and absolutely CANNOT piss under pressure so im screwed lol

@static9x Nice. They didn't allow us to watch anything or even read while we were there! All our stuff was in the storage room and we could only use our phones in the one side of the building where the liaison offices were.

we never went back to the med. briefing room after those tests, once the briefing was over, we went on to separate tests, and guys just remember the whole drop your pants thing for me only took about 15 seconds, the asian doctor is very fast

It might have been due to the amount of people we had in our group, or maybe my experience happened to be one of the more unconventional ones. But yeah, I got the black Doctor. He was very thorough yet quick. 15 seconds sounds about right!
