common man..they(ana) was not so smart when i was there..they had to taught a thousand times, especially marksmanship..they keep jerking the trigger like its gonna make them more accurate..lol..watever..the police..even worse..but they are stil some quality guys..rock on guys..
@crazy4sian well when you're a soldier every night in the desert with nothing to do.. keeping your rifle immaculate sounds pretty easy figuring its almost the only thing to do lol
@crazy4sian and honestly its not that hard? have you had experience with an AR15 type platform? they're basically the same. the military channel's full of shit. the AK47 and M16 take the same amount of time to learn how to strip and manage the weapon. there's just different methods. and that's from my own experience
@MrGrande8844 No, it really isn't. It's all about repetition and familiarity. I've just heard too much about the AK and never actually handled one. The M16A2 and the M9 are all I ever worked with.
@crazy4sian well i learned from a gentleman who was a veteran. i learned two entirely different ways to field strip the rifles. they just seem like two different processes. i guess its all about personal preference
@MrGrande8844 That may play a small part, but it still comes down to repetition and familiarity of the weapon. I've taken apart the rifle and pistol and cleaned it more than I could care. No amount of favoritism trumps the basics.
why do we continue to supply other nations and armies with our weapons? Have we not learned from Operation Cyclone, which initiated and organized the Afghan Mujahideen in their resistance to the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan?
Notice that the Taliban are still getting their asses handed to them on a platter, and they only use AK-47s, RPKs, and RPG-7s anyway (Soviet arsenal).
Kalashnikov is the only small arm: fascist killer.

they would probably get better groups sizes if you taught them not to snatch the trigger...

It's gotta be tough maintaining those weapons with dust and sand everywhere.
