  • lol the bald guy behind Paul Ryan has a bandage on his forehead - guess politics is a bit harsher than people think. lol

  • Four doctors with their CPA degree to insure that each doctor is not abusing the system... Man we need to import more doctors from the jungle of central america.

  • Everyone in Washington knows that Paul Ryan has been told he has a million dollar a year lobbying job for the health industry if he gets his health care law passed.

Here's how it works-he lies through his teeth to get it passed-the healthcare insurance industry makes billions more from vouchers while still denying it's customers health care.

Meanwhile this nigger gets a cushy one million dollar a year job as a lobbyist. Way to sell out your own people Ryan!

  • No one disagreed that Washington is corrupt.

But Paul Ryan's way is a SATANIC WAY.

Paul Ryan's SATANIC ECONOMICS is as corrupt as the Koch Brothers having 22 BILLION DOLLARS and STILL TELLING THEIR EMPLOYEES HOW TO VOTE to cut workers rights and pay.

Ryan's SATANIC ECONOMICS make it easy for companies to continue to send American jobs oversees, while crushing American workers' rights.

Ryan's SATANIC ECONOMICS benefit the wealthy and powerful and screw the American working class.

    .

  • well.... there's at least ONE honest man in washington dc (i'm sure there are a few more). there is hope......... for a change at least i can believe in. go paul ryan

  • well.... there's at least ONE honest man in washington dc (i'm sure there are a few more). there is hope......... for a change at least i can believe in. go paul ryan

  • Ryan, Boner, and the rest of the GOP want to take your childrens retirement (social security) and give it to the the bankers on Wall Street. These niggers suck

the bankers cocks and swallow! America deserves better!

  • Ryan and the rest of the right wing are just tools for the wealthy elite! Everyone of these niggers voted against progressive health care or extending unemployment benefits . They exist for the sole purpose of enriching the wealthy elite at the expense of the middle class! What have they done for you lately?

  • Who is that moron behind you... must be a democrat

  • Please Mr. Ryan, run for President!!

  • hah. look at the guy in the background he has a patch on his forehead. Looks completely retarded

  • he's the only Repbulican canidate that can beat obama. . He's smart. , very smart, Calm , good looking , young .

He could do it ! . . PAUL RYAN FOR PRESIDENT !!

  • im a democratic but he got some point on the health reform bill

  • For those of you who have not been including the sources of their postings (I mean Bolgernow) .. I must say that you're in for a rude awakening when the truth of the health care bill comes out .. all the taxes and spending, and then you're out of work ... and you can't buy even a loaf of bread to feed your spoiled little brats at home!

  • @MyFreedomChannel, I have included them each time...

  • Mr Ryan is obviously not part of the DC Gang. USA has become a banana republic, thuggery rules every where from the very top down

  • Please God, let this man run for President!

  • Paul's mah boy. Plug your ears on November 2nd, because the sound will be deafening.

  • BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Idaho Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter on Wednesday became the first state chief executive to sign a measure requiring his attorney general to sue Congress if it passes health reforms that force residents to buy insurance. Similar legislation is pending in 37 other states nationwide.

  • Is that Teddy Roosevelt sitting there idle? Pelosi et al - all are in hot water so bad they will be booted out of office this fall for sure - bye bye.

  • Massachusetts was foreplay

54 electoral votes bitches, west coast comin atcha

    TEA PARTY CALIFORNIA STYLE !!!

    small government

    legalize

    Sarah Palin 2012

  • @1Guitarslayer

lmao u say small government then Sarah Palin...the republican-born foreign policy of having our dicks out in 60 countries around the world....sounds more like an empire than 'small-government'

i swear u tea party ppl have down syndrome...

    oh wait...

  • what taxpayers don't say when they see a 2 foot tall 2,700 page government bill...

WOW... LOOK AT ALL THE COST SAVINGS HONEY!!!

  • 30,000,000 additional people covered and it won't cost us a thing...

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

    used car salesman

  • DC makes the mafia look like a book club, especially this administration.

this is a new low... I'm ashamed of my deceitful President and my 23% approval rating congress.

  • if republicans cared about healthcare, why did they kill clintons bill then fail to do anything for 8 years after? now that someone wants to fix it, they say no.

also, anyone who says we cant afford it is retarded. the public option would have paid for the entire thing and THEN some....how the f**k do you think insurance companies make profits? the govt is a not-for-profit entity, wtf do you think they would do with the extra money they make from selling insurance?

  • TERM LIMITS BITCHES !!!!

  • The Moochers are still BEGGING and obutma is still responding!

Stop begging and crying all over the place pussy liberals/democrats!

  • 20,000 views in two days? I wonder which blog linked here?

  • There is definitely a storm brewing in our country. With 35 states having either passed or pending legislation to nullify any federal mandate, I'm curious how that will play out. From what I've read, a mandate will probably be upheld in court - but states like Utah have threatened to use eminent domain laws to seize federal property in their states if they do enforce the mandate.

Very interesting things happening in America my friends - I suggest you tidy up your ship and ready for war.

  • Don't worry, I am a Lib and I am gunning for Dems next election. THEY MUST GO!!!

My vote has a Teflon coat!

  • Wow, I totally respected him before this video. He tells a bunch of half-truths and then misrepresents speaker Pelosi's words.

First time I see him jump the shark this hard. :\

  • Misleading title: Paul Ryan is the Washington Way. He's going to be in DC forever and is a classic example of what's wrong in our nation's capital.

  • what the hell is that guy in the background doing?

  • Hey! I'm ѕpreаdіnց my еx girlfriеnd'ѕ sex tарe аroսոd (ոot really seх, but ѕհе'ѕ nаked, pusѕy and evеrytհiոց!). Why? Bеcаusе sհe'ѕ а bitϲh, Shе deѕеrvеd іt, ѕo ցο аhеаd and wаtcհ іt. Aոd tеll yοur frіеnds whаt a ѕlսt ѕհе іѕ, tհe lіnk iѕ οո my рrοfilе рaցe.

  • Mr Ryan is obsessed with keeping those massive papers in front of him as to assume that this is the only bill of this length. Give me a break.

An ideology that says Medical Care is a right and not a privilege. Lets face it the GOP assumes you're privileged to have Health Care if you work, get paid 100K or more and don't get too sick. If you don't fit that criteria then you are not deserving of health care. I know I read their GOP version that they posted online. it is just that.

  • Paul Ryan talks a good talk.

But recognize he's a devil in disguise.

His largest contributors are the Insurance Industry.

He's their lap dog -- or you could even say their "whore" When they tell him to jump - he asks "how high?"

Let's pray the ppl of Wisconsin will elect someone to represent "we the people" & kick this CORPORATE WHORE out of office.

  • Never heard from this Ryan guy, but would sure like to hear more.

    No government in our health-care.

Why aren't they doing something about the out-of-control insurance companies?

Even if this crap-care does pass, just don't comply.

You'll have to sign something if it passes. Don't do it, just don't sign your rights away. Reserve them, reserve your choice and your freedom.

The government never gives anything to anybody, even when it seems they do. Look at the broad picture, not the here and now.

  • It isn't Constitutional to pass Healthcare legislation under Reconciliation. Senator Byrd who wrote the law on Reconciliation explicitly said it can only be used for budgetary means. This is why President Clinton couldn't pass healthcare under Reconciliation.. why are they allowing it now?

  • i''ve seen him in action on C-Span for the past couple weeks, he is a master obstructist. Almost as destructive to the American people as Sen. Gregg.

  • The tragic (TOXIC) dumbing down of the conservative movement: Buckley / Goldwater (rolling over in their graves) Nixon's Secret Plan & Southern Strategy Reagan (Trickle-down & massive DEBT) Religious right hijacks Jesus. GOP hijacks the flag. Limbaugh & Hate Radio Family values hypocrisy Fox "News" Bush/Cheney Palin Birthers Beck GOP-Baggers (GOP hijacks Tea Party.) *The abyss? *Conservatives, you are HERE.
  • It's sad that intelligent conservatives really have no party. It's also depressing that you have to buy into the climate change conspiracy theory as a litmus test to run as a Republican.

  • This guy is a barnacle on the ass of progress. I want my government to give me healthcare-otherwise I don't get any.

  • a "handful of people hidden from public view?? haha uhh you mean the Senate? Uh yeah, this is a Republic you dumb shit.

  • Friggin pass the health care bill, it will save lives.

  • Got a joke for you asshole gofudgeyerself.

Did you hear about the asshole that said if the bill passes your insurance premium will go down 3,000%?

    Can you say KOOL AID.

  • HEY, ASSHOLE. tRY SOMETHING OTHER THAN TALKING POINTS.

sIT BACK AND DRINK SOME MORE KOOL AID.

  • whos the asshole in the background with the bandaidhead

  • I agree with franknzz & mcap52!

  • Thank you Mr. Ryan. Bad bills don't help anyone

  • total douche bag. the reality is that we are the ONLY advanced country in the world without universal healthcare. Health Care is 1/6th of the US economy because HUGE CORPORATIONS put profits before people.

    Come back to reality.

  • there's your answer, move to one of those other countries, problem solved

  • oh the irony Paul Ryan!

  • We have the best health care in the world, but one of the poorest health care systems. I'm wondering if at the end of this, will any problems have been solved. I'm just curious of the outcome, I don't think anyone has enough foresight to decide whats to come.

  • tHIS BILL DOESN'T ADDRESS THE REAL COST OF HEALTH CARE.

    iT'S A FARCE.

  • both partys are a disgrace. each sell out to the highest bidder everytime. its up to us the people to stop voting for these scum. lets take back our country and soon!

  • hey, ass hole, are you and your cowboys going to fix healthcare? no, republicans have offered nothing but resistance....if you seriously want to fix healthcare, help fix the bill, not try to trash it so were back to square 1....clinton got his bill trashed and look how long its taken for someone else to attempt fixing the system...16 years of rising costs...republicans had 8 years to do something and never did, so stfu mr ryan.

  • So I assume that you are in support of a public option? You support the idea that other people will have to pay for your HC?If this "reform"was just about fixing the problems then why do people have to be BOUGHT?If this bill is so great why have they been talking for a YEAR?They don't need any Republican votes so they ARE NOT STOPPING THEM FROM DOING ANYTHING.Maybe if they pass it and you start paying taxes for THREE YEARS b4 you even see one BENEFIT you will open your eyes.Stupid is 4ever.

  • @gofudgeyourselfx They had a healthcare proposal and you can view it on the GOP website.

Countless times they said on the news their plan included tort reform, malpractice insurance reform, Stupak amendment and others..

Like the President, you just wasn't listening.

  • If you have something to say, then say it coherently with facts. I agree with the Rep. to go back to square one and really work together on this problem. The Dems have had a whole year to make back room deals (cornhusker kickback, louisiana purchase, special union deals, abortion). Have you really thought about the reality of the cost of this bill- that means not listening to Pelosi, Reid, and Obama? Government promises, but can't deliver. Just revisit history.

  • Mr Ryan has is right. Do YOU want to fund medical Ben's for II's? Go F yourself you liberal misguided F%#$

  • he smart...

  • Paul Ryan just said free market reduces health care cost. What planet does this guy live in?

  • wicked cool. i can actually listen to this guy.

  • A 'real' American Idol.

  • Smart guy.

  • This is a pure power grab, if it is so important why is it taking effect in 4 years. and the education takeover is being hidden in the same bill. The only reason the Dems are votting for it is because they know they are preparring for a massive unelected liberal oligarcy, which they will control, who goes to what college, what is taught ,and who lives or dies.

  • In 4 years these politicians legacy will have been set in stone as doing something "courageous" they however will not have to deal with it. It is like in IT, Network Administrators only stick around 3 to 4 years, why? Cause they don't have to put up with the decisions they made.

  • As long as this guy sticks to the party guns and doesnt make any big mistakes, i see him as a presidential candidate within the decade.

  • hey ryan that was a great statement, however if you care about big government so much why the hell did you vote against the bill that would have ended the afghanistan war that took place last week? We not only need to end the welfare state but its about time we end the warfare state also and bring our troops home!

  • Wow charismatic white guy from right to counter charismatic black guy from left. Insane Alex Jones sounds more and more sane these days. The left and right have same crappy content in an attractive giftwrap.

  • Nice band-aid, guy.

  • What european countries know and that US does not is that making sure that the basic human rights are furfilled isnt only a resonsibility to upkeep democracy but a huge economical advantage if its managed correctly.

  • you had over 60 years to correct health care get off your ass and do something before we are a third world country

  • I wonder how much money insurance companies are paying this asshole for an "eloquent speech" against Health Care Reform, making sure that the reform bill fails.

  • The norm system which tremendously influence or normal day, politics and market is withholding ALOT of power, he talks about paternalism when he doesnt even mention what happens when the market controls this power. Not even the pure power capital isnt worth as much as it doesnt structure itself while the normsystem structures all kinds of capital.

I agree that it shouldnt be rushed but public, but all the money working against it might require a certain stress ;D

  • you fucking liar. stupid, republicans have used it 14 fucking times.stop crying.its all lie lie lie. and you idiots who think he should run for president, do some research your self and stop listening to this fucker like zombies.

  • @ashkankha I haven't researched this, but I'd be interested to know what was passed using this 14 times. Ryan isn't complaining simply that it's being used but that it's being abused.

He's at least right in saying that the method of passing had an express purpose to it, so if any of those 14 cases were abusive then I'd agree with you-ish.

  • and then a GIANT BARRACUDA eats everyone

  • Does this guy not remember that the bill already passed the Senate with a super-majority or does he think America is too stupid to remember?

  • check out the in the back with the band aid

  • Lets hope he runs. I ate lunch with this guy, came to my school in middle school and sat right next to me.

  • Comment removed

  • watch the guy in the back

  • I must be very easily amused. 0:28 just makes me laugh.

  • Hypocrite - when you were in the Bush White House and Republicans did the same thing you never complained.

  • I'm only 14 years old, but I have some question I hope some people can answer. What is the Republican plan on health care? What if the Republicans were the majority of both houses? Would they be working together with the Democrats? I think not, because even when there are promising reps like Mr Ryan there are still many not so good ones in both parties, and even if they said they would concidering the history of our government i disagree. Washington is plauged with propoganda and needs fixing

  • Smartest 14 year old i have witnessed on youtube. It is hard to find out the Republicans plan because he would have to come to your door and sit down and tel you. CNN, MSNBC etc.... certainly are not going to air it and nobody watches FOX news so you are going to have to dig to find it cause the media just is not what can be your source.

  • I'll look into that, and thanks I'm hoping to be a future politician.

  • learn how to promise entitlements from extortion.................you'll go far

  • Obama is bribing people to vote for stuff. Is this what our Govt. has finally collapsed to?

After this bill passes, I wouldn't doubt an Independent investigator presses charges on some of these Senators or even the President and his admin. Also I don't think Obama realizes the Supreme Court is the real power, not him. They will eventually crush him like a grape.

  • A fat ass nation can't afford public health care.Corn syrup kills.1 in 3 kids born after 2000 will be diabetic because they eat terrible food.Michelle Obama has already done more for health care by getting diet and exercise into the media than all these others combined.

  • Ryan is a corporate nigger!

  • What this guy just said makes sense.

    Obama lied to independents

  • lololol the bald guy with the bandaid, what a tool

  • He didn't explain why it was going to add to the deficit. He says the CBO says it won't, and the CBO is right, but they are being lied to? or the Dems are gonna sneak in a bunch of shit to raise the deficit? There was nothing of substance in there. Just a bunch of assumptions, and talking points.

  • cry cry cry more repubs, how many times did you use Reconciliation to push bills?

  • This is a joke. The rest of the world laughs at America for not having a national health care system. This guy thinks it's Armaggedon. It's time to take care of the ill in America. I'm an American living in the UK. No one here goes without healthcare. Unemployment is not as high here as in the US. I'm thriving here.

  • Thank you Congressman Ryan. I cannot describe how refreshing to hear a politician in Washington who has not sold his soul. Continue to stand strong and fight for our constitution and the people of our nation. May God bless America.

  • haha the pawns who support this guy are the ones who suffer the most by rejecting true health care reform. Insurance companies own you! Wake up!

  • @minion023. You want to be a slave to the state, go ahead. But, don't criticize anyone for not wanting to be enslaved. Healthcare TAKEOVER - not reform - if it passes by vote or not voting ( Slaughter Rule) will NEVER be the law of the land. So stop dreaming and pledge your allegiance to the flag, not your libtard, replicunt socialist politicians.

  • No, I rather have a public OPTION *gasp* and maybe have a decent health care system that provides for people and doesn't spit people out as soon they get sick. I dont know about you, but I rather rank ahead of Morocco, Cyprus and Chile (to name a few) in health care. We're a superpower country that has 3rd world health care coverage. You're a slave to the corporations and greed.

  • Paul does his homework and speaks the truth! He even realizes he was put there to represent the people in his district, I heard him say that, know that is refreshing!

  • Mr Ryan You Rock. Thank God for your clarity.

  • With all due respect Rep. Ryan.....If you are so concerned about House "RULES"......why didn't you call for the "CENSURE" of Rep. Joe Wilson for his "You Lie" outburst during our President's address to the Joint session?!!

This is not about the healthcare debate and you know it!

The Party of "NO" hasn't had an idea since going to Iraq. What's the GOP's idea to reform healthcare??!!

  • That's the most idiotic comment I"ve seen here for a while. Congratulations.

  • Undercover NEO CON talking points.........zzzzzzzzzzz

  • What did we expect? We put MARXISTS, RACISTS, TAX CHEATS, THEIVES, SEXUAL DEVIANTS and other such model politicians into power, to blend their ideals into a new agenda for the nation. Surprised at the results?

  • Oklahoma loves this guy!

We want him to run for president. He's ten times better than that idiot McCain.

  • Thank you for trying to represent Americans who understand the nuances of this bill. This bill is purely partisan and based upon a socialist ideology. This is theft of our children's futures our elderly and infirms sustenance. It directly violates the constitution in it's passage and decision. It must be reversed if enacted.

  • Ryan is exactly right on. This bill is a debacle that will increase costs for all Americans, but especially the middle class. Obaomao promised not to raise taxes "one dime" on 95% of Americans. This bill, if passed, will prove that he is the ultimate liar, beating even Bill Clinton. Most Democraps in this congress are evil to their core and must defeated by a landslide in November to save this nation and its people.

  • "Heath care DEBACLE"

    "A legislative Trojan horse"

I love it.... way to go Ryan!

Kill this damn democrap bill! The govt. SUCKS!

  • Spread the word. If obama-care passes, we must be prepared to go to washington dc immediately by the millions and shut down the capitol until an injuction by the federal courts stops the unconstitutional law from being enacted.

  • Paul Ryan is a CORPORATE WHORE!

  • No, he's a freedom fighter.

  • figures .. another republican repeating the RNC corporate lobbyist talking points

  • You didn't even watch the video.

  • how do u know ?

  • I dont even know where to start, the speech is simply brilliant.

  • Try. What is "brilliant" about it?

  • And NOTHING. You offer no solutions. No reform. NOTHING...

"Kill the bill" is not REFORM. Until you have real solutions that AREN'T in the bill, sit down you loud child...

  • Whoa settle yourself down, fool. I was at work so I couldnt respond right away, some of us still do that.

Alright here's my reform. Allow Ins companies to trade across state lines increasing competition, tort reform, and allow businesses to buy into insurance pools to lower their premiums. Does it fix everything? Nope, but itll help right away, and costs you and me nothing!

Also, I am allowed to say just "kill the bill" because I don't think our system is as broken as you do.

  • Obama took 4 Republican points. Tort reform's good, but shouldn't "cap awards" for real doctor/insurance negligence. Included Coburn's "medical professionals conducting undercover investigations of providers that receive reimbursements from Medicare/Medicaid for fraud". Another provides $50 million for states to pursue alternatives to medical malpractice litigation. 3rd wants higher doctor reimbursement "in a fiscally responsible manner" under Medicaid. 4th encourages Health Savings Accounts

  • rofl @ the bald guy in the back! LOLLLLLLLLLLL

fuckin band aid on his forehead and the facial expressions he makes

  • The democrats are trying to force us all to eat a shit sandwhich disguised as health food.

  • I see your lips moving but I dont hear a word your saying... all hot air... he's all part of the same hypocracy

  • where was he during the last 8 years??? Scumbag! This was okay when Bush gave his taxcuts, but not now.

  • Um Paul, your party used "The Washington Way" when Bush passed a 1.4 TRILLION Tax Cut for the top 3% wage earners. But that was OK.

Out of 23 times using reconciliation "The Washington Way", 17 were used by Republicans, but NOW it's wrong? No, it's called "fear mongering"

GOP/Republicans have no solutions. "Kill the bill" isn't a solution it's only hate, division, attacks & insults. If you have no solutions to fix our country that 8 years of your policy left in chaos, step aside.

  • Wow, I get two "thumbs down" with no one addressing the basic facts I stated. Telling...

GOP/Republicans won't address facts, reason, logic, or reality. They'll just yell, insult, attack, obstruct, & avoid. All while offering NO solutions...

It must be hard to be a Republican today. You have to totally reject reality & facts solely because you want to "win" at the expense of the rest of America. That won't get you elected. It will get you voted out...

  • And you call me 'attack spam'?

If you think one man can address all the crap that comes out of Democrats' mouth in one 8:51 video, you're as stupid as you sound.

Why don't you shut up some time and listen and let someone finish before you actually reject ideas?

  • Um, I've been a member of YouTube since 2006. I post my own videos & watch a wide variety of clips. I'm a comedian & have a footprint here. You just joined today.

You're here to attack any dissenting POV from the GOP. You just joined TODAY with NO clips, but tons of political posts supporting Tea Baggers/GOP/Republicans. Why?

Neat. Thanks for proving my point. Insults, & attacks. No solutions. "Kill the bill" isn't a solution. Give me Healthcare reform solutions. 8:51 is the END of the clip

  • Voted out, as in what happened in Massachusetts? What planet do you live on? The Republicans have been surging in popularity only because the Democrats arent listening to their constituents. I can only WISH conservatives didnt offer new solutions more often, perhaps we wouldnt have a huge unpayable debt to China with a 10% unemployment rate. Sometimes the best solution is not to grow the government, imagine if that ever happened under a president, scary!

  • Bush didnt start sucking until the last two years of his presidency. Public opinion of him really dropped at that time because he started becoming a big spender and somehow Obama has managed to go one step further.

Also, that tax decrease, it had an expiration date. Does this healthcare bill, regardless of how much it sucks? Nope, were stuck with it FOREVER.

But listen, I understand, Obama is a disapointment, so you bring up Bush over and over. In the end you're only fooling yourself.

  • A GOP Bush apologist. Enjoy your planet. The rest of us are here in reality. Please stop...

  • you are a Odumbo ball washer

  • Insults. Neat. You offer no solutions to fix the mess your views left in place. You only offer hate, division, lies, attacks, insults, & obstruction to any progress...

Some day you can look back & tell your kids, "You see all these good things that happened in our country, well daddy was totally against them insulting everyone who was for them"...

  • @Bolgernow : Boy are YOU delusional. That whole list of things that were "offered" -- ironically pertain to everything the radical Communist leftist Dems in Congress and on Obama's cabinet have done!

Every single one of these, factors into Saul Alinsky's rule book, "Rules for Radicals", which is read -- and HAS been read by every one of those America-haters: hate, division, lies, attacks and insults. As for what you consider to be "obstruction to any progress" -- go and live somewhere else!

  • @LisaClark45 name calling & insults. All of the 4 points I listed were from Republican suggestions. You are ignorant of basic facts. Facts aren't debatable, facts, don't picks sides. Calling me, a mainstream American, a "radical" is simply name calling. Labling to degrade. Please stop

  • @Bolgernow way to sidestep confronting anything he actually said. seriously, you can't dismiss someone with the points and logic he has just by calling him an 'apologist' with no further explanation. it in fact emphasizes how little of an argument left wingers have against ryan's rhetoric.

  • @MrNever8 says the neo-con GOP spam bot. You have no real footprint here. No vids, no nothing, but comment on GOP clips espousing those views. You wait 5 months to respond, really? The right gains power=facism(just look above at how they treated a reasonable dissenting voice. They marked it "spam" & shut it down). The left=more freedom. Remember, with Bush you had a protest zone. With Obama you can get close enough to spit on members of congress during the healthcare debate. Freedom

  • @Bolgernow the fact that you call anyone who disagrees with you a neocon spamboy illustrates how little ability you have to confront the actual argument against this economy-trashing trillion dollar mistake. Secondly, I don't see why having no videos means anything I say is illegitimate. Thirdly, liberalism does not mean more freedom in this case - like for example the free market.

  • One more point since it sounds like you didn't take Econ 101. You do understand that the evil rich people that received those tax cuts already pay a rate much higher than most people, right? And you also understand that the top 5% pay over 60% of the total income tax for the entire nation, right? But you say they should pay more, pay their fair share, what would you propose, should they pay everything, 100%?

Also, the bottom 50% pay 3% of the total tax revenue, just thought you should know!

  • I have a degree in economics. The point of "Tax Cuts" is to stimulate the economy. It didn't. The wealthy still kept their money. Didn't work under Reagan with the Laffer curve/Voodoo economics, didn't work under Bush. Bush increased government spending by 59%. Where were you? WHERE?

  • Whats with the straw man argument? How do you know I didn't voice my concern about big spending under Bush? You're right I didn't voice concern over tax cuts, because those do stimulate the economy. I guess you got me there!

It's like I'm on a ship thats sinking and all you want to ask me is where I was when it started going down, I'm not allowed to voice my opinion once I notice my feet are suddenly wet because it wasn't as bad before? Come on man, it's getting worse, not better!

  • The core of your argument is that it is somehow wrong for people who make money to keep it, and that tax cuts are for wealth redistribution. Also tax cuts brought unemployment down to 4.6 % after 9/11. Where was your degree from?

  • yea but wealth redistribution is the only the small guy will get ahead in America. The government can help us as Americans so that we can help ourselves. I dont have health care and I need it, i cant pay the costs. If we need to pay more taxes then fine, I dont make much so i'm sure they wont take that much out of mine :-) It's time for us to take back america so that people can get take back HEALTHCARE

  • Stevethird1, the core of my argument is we Americans ALWAYS pay taxes. It's as American as apple pie, hot dogs, & baseball. When you give the top 3% of wage earners in this country(not people making 900,000-million we're talking people making 80-300 million a year) a TAX BREAK, that tax $ was already marked to be spent. If you don't like taxes, move somewhere else. "Tax Cuts" cost us 1.4 TRILLION in revenue. St. Ambrose University in Davenport Iowa. Bush was a terrible president on every level.

  • @Bolgernow The top 5% of Americans constitute anyone over $150,000 per year, not the 80-300 million as you claimed. They pay 60% of all income tax in the country and the top tax bracket pays 35% of all wages while the lowest pays 10%. Kinda hard to say it was a cut when you're still paying more than everyone else in taxes just for being successful.

  • Did your degree come from Disney Land ? You are still wrong with your degree...next you will say you believe in global warming. Grow up and learn some knowledge.

  • Did you have anything of value to add addressing the specific economic facts about "Tax Cuts for the wealthy" I stated or just insults?

  • @Bolgernow You have a degree in economics and you don't understand a pie chart can't be larger than 100%? Yes your right, the top 50% pay 97% of all taxes (the top 1% is included in that numer obviously). The bottom 50% pay almost nothing (3%).

Now, when you look at just the top 1%, they pay, as you said, 40% of EVERYTHING!!! 3 million Americans pay nearly HALF of all the income tax in this country. The remaining 99% of people pay for the other 60%. Im glad I could clear that up for you.

  • @Bolgernow Yea, I get it, I'm a Bush apologist, you've said that in every one of your comments I think. That's kind of your go to answer isn't it?

Here's a recap: Top 1% pays 40% of all income tax. (1.5 million or so people)

The remaining 99% pay the other 60% (150 million people)

$32k is not the mean income of the top 50%, it's the MINIMUM you need to be considered in the top 50%. Someone making 32k would pay $8k (25%) while the top 1% would pay $144k (35%) on average.

  • @Bolgernow Wheres your source? Ahh well if you can't find it I've got one for you: Kiplinger. people who earn $32K - $75K pay about 12% of all tax revenue (not 97% as you made up again). Anything else you got for me to clear up?

Sorry man, I almost feel bad for you now. I mean your honestly just making things up at this point.

  • @Bolgernow One more point, cause you're so wrong I couldn't squeeze it in my last response. People making 32K don't pay 97% of all taxes. People making 32k OR MORE are paying for 97% of taxes. Kind of a big distinction since the people who make 30-35k pay a very small amount (roughly 1-2%) of the total income tax, not the 97% you mentioned.

Let me know if you have contrary evidence (which you don't since I'm using Federal Data). Otherwise, I think this problem has been solved!

  • Bolgernow has a potty mouth. Is that the same mouth you eat with? And Bush is not in office. He's gone! get over it!
