Thanks for uploading. I've been looking for clips of the avatar state (with the normal music from the show) but all of the other videos I've seen have crappy music. Do you have other clips of the other avatar states? Like the one in the Desert and the one from the Northern Water Tribe?

@G5N2Elite: I don't think that zuko knew of the avatar state. The avatar disappeared a 100 years ago. The last avatar that used the avatar state was Roku 112 years ago.. The fire nation has kept the entire history of avatar Roku and firelord Sosan secret, so I don't think that they have learned childeren in the firenation about the avatar state.

Anyway this is the first time that aang go's into the avatar state so why are the sages suprised that roku's eyes light up the next chapter?? :p

and by the way people, I saw the actual movie and THIS particular avatar state was not in the movie. All Aang did was make a bunch of wind and summon a giant wave with a bunch of fancy moves without actually altering the environment.

avatar state doesn't technically increase his power. What it does is awakens the knowledge of everything the previous avatars had learned. With all that knowledge, and knowing his opponents powers, he really shoulda been more ready for that.

@commandmagician Wanderer is talking about this scene in general, they completely changed it and he just flew off with his glider. I think the most dissapointing part of the film is the fact that, they missed alot of key parts to the story in book 1 just to get to the end of it, they didn't even show the episode where in Book 1 he attempts to learn fire bending, but realises just how dangerous his abilities can be.

lol perfect avatar state in book one lol :P no offense but that just makes u look dumb u clearly havent watched all 3 seasons because in book 2 chapter 1 they talk about how and the avatar state is a defence mecanizim they triggers when ang is in danger or when the people he cares for are in danger he actually perfects the avatar state in book 2 chapter 21

Actually, that's when he gained the ability to enter, control, and exit the avatar state, he didn't master it until the beginning of SC part 4: Avatar Aang. A good analogy is book 2 chapter 21 is like bitter work, he figured out how to earthbend but wasn't a master.
