All this is doing is switching you off your ISP's DNS servers and on to the OpenDNS servers which are great and tend to be much faster. If you want more info on them just go to opendns dot com.

Also, just because those dns servers work well for you doesn't mean they will for others.That's why Namebench exists. no, i am saying that this decreases ping (the amount of time packets take to be sent forward and back). decreasing your ping will allow you to run internet applications faster, load websites quicker and even download faster. online gaming will also be much faster. now either be constructive or fuck off

Some dns servers will provide this service a little faster for you than others. It does NOTHING to your ping, that's line quality and it will NOT affect things like online gaming. Get your facts straight before you make another "tutorial" video.

@12bhutan that should not happen, dns changing does nothing other than change the point at which your packets pass through, so if that is happening you should either download a new browser or change your browser back to default settings

@madisondh89 you can look up a tutorial for how to use terminal to do that, but if you do not have that bar then either you didn't look properly or you have a serious problem with your computer and should take it to the apple store immediately
