I did all of that stuff when i lived in California . My friend did a story about the Vanderlip home in the Beach Reporter around 2002 .

Well this was amazingly uninteresting. There was a lot of talk about being scared, but with nothing actually going on to be scared about. It was pretty much just a lot of blackness.

If you wanted to show us the village then you should have gone during the daytime. If you wanted us to be scared then it would have been better to film at twilight when we could actually see something, but with plenty of dim shapes and shadows to provide the imagination with something to work with.
