The reality is that the USA became so much dependent on foreign oil that now you are giving all your american dollars (borrowed from China) to the islamic world and other oil producer countries (like Venezuela) which are anti-USA. Bush has clearly done NOTHING to figure it out so why should the people believe McCain (who is another republican like Bush) that he will actually do something?

I think buy drilling in the ocean it will help in the move to a more environmentaly friendly US of A. I dnt think it will solve the problem. How u might ask, well the US drills in a more envrionmentaly friendly way then the middle east. Once we drill in the ocean there will be no worries about the oil crisis and then we can focus on finding better ways to supply energy to the US. If Obama gets in office he is gonna make me pay $10 for oil and double my taxes. This is a "DE DE DEEEEEE" concept.

The war in Iraq is the direct result of the mess we have here at home and Billary (and McCain) voted for this war without even reading the report. Only 9 read the report and they were the ones who voted against it. She didn't apologize, McCain wants to keep us there for 100 years to win it at the risk of losing everything, and Barack wants to bring our troops home and build our economy. McCain is coming off as desperate. He's acting like a school yard bully and we wonder why our kids treat each other with disrespect, it's because of examples like these. Like most bullies he's feeling inferior so he's lashing out. Is this the quality we want in our leader. We've had 8 yrs of a leader who's an arrogant cowboy we don't need a bully for the next 4 years.

Doesn't everyone realize that the Democrats are moving us towards a socialist state? Trying to "close the gap" and raise taxes (even more) to facilitate this is not the American way. You get out there and work hard and become wealthy, not sit around and collect handouts. Funny you should say this because prior to GW Bush there were good jobs in this country. Most of those are now over seas and have been replaced with 7 dollar an hour jobs. It's notthat Democrats don't work hard it is simply that the 25 dollar an hour jobs are not here anymore thanks to the GOP.
