I can pick the hell outta a five with picks, Scruggs style, but I never could get that durn clawhammer goin... must be sumthin wrong with my brain. I do love the clawhammer style! and you do it good!

It's called clawhammer becuase your strumming hand is shaped in the form of a claw. Fingernails are not required, but they sure do help!

That DID sound good (for 1 in the morning) I could pick up the tune and if you can do that the song is good!! I wouldn't mind playing clawhammer style but it looks difficult to learn I play the left handed 5 string banjo now but like I said wouldn't mind "trying" to learn the style! Good Job.
