@4tellen You mean like taking him to a vet and having the vet say he's got metabolic bone disease and there is nothing they can do for him. He wouldn't take the food I offered by hand and couldn't eat the fake plants I had. So what are my choices? Keep him in my room where I know he won't eat or place him in a flourishing tree with flowers leaves and tons of bugs? Hmmmm hard choice. Find out all the info before opening your mouth douche bag!
it happens. i had a baby panther chameleon. about 6 months in he decided he didnt want to eat anymore or drink. even if i put it right in front of him. my temps were fine, i have a fully vented cage, live plants and crickets every day but my best friend is a breeder and she said sometimes it just happens with chams thats why theyre so hard to raise. i have a 1 year old wild caught kenyan hoehnelii chameleon now and he is awesome. a midget compared to the panther but awesome little cham. very shy

The tank he was in had vents along the bottom as well as a screen top. My room always had air flow. There is a fan in my window and two other fans in the room that are on 24/7 It may have been the cause but I don't think this was it. I am pretty sure he got metabolic bone disease from a lack of vitamin D due to the bulb not putting out the proper UV's. :(
He was about a year old. He passed shortly after this video. I neglected to change the UV bulb and he got sick. He wasn't able to shoot his tongue anymore. I put him in my lemon tree in my backyard and he stayed there a few months before dying. R.I.P. Vesilli
@Purpakush420 That will be different from country to country. So maybe adressing your local pêt-store is more usefull then asking random people on the web ;).
you put him in lemon tree instead of giveing him proper care...... wow

they eat:rats, bugs, birds, other lizards, scorpions and if there big chameleons they could eat snakes for some reason.

@arparaspolo he said glass tank because chameleons get stressed out iff they see themselves in a reflection.
