yes, the original is an old english ballad... about a woman highway'man'... Although that version is quite nice, it is quite simplistic, this one carries a Dylanian type of complexity

The first minute or so of this song is obscenely pleasant, and at 0:42 when the bowed 1/4 note line of a major 2nd to a minor 3rd comes in is perfect, really just perfect. Best one man band hands down
