That women was doing what she felt was the right thing to do in a difficult situation, she clearly was not acting on orders from who she worked for, or for personal financial gain. The argument for or against abortion obviously stairs up a lot of emotion on either side of the argument but the women in this video was doing what she felt best and to paint her as some kind of monster is not relay fair.

Honestly, you can't blame one employee's slip-up of behavior on the entire facility.
It was the human being's bad advice, not Planned Parenthood's. There are no guidelines telling that woman to give that advice to the child, it was unauthorized advice and it was by no means motivated by the rest of the facilities..

@abelieberbeliebin I have seen SOO many videos of employees and whole facilities of planned parenthood fired and probated and there is always a comment of an uninformed person claiming we can not blame Planned Parenthood for one employees mistake. After seeing so many videos and listening to Lila (from Live Action) speak, I have seen such a trend of people from Planned Parenthood making that one mistake that the company shouldn't be blamed for.

The baby has nutrients and oxygen delivered to its blood by its mother's blood, which passes close enough together to make the exchange, but the blood NEVER mixes. And besides that, a woman is not legally allowed to take her own body and rob a bank, drive drunk, or even sell herself as a prostitute. Yet she can legally kill a human being because it's 'her body.'

Interesting what LAF did. They put a particular counselor under an ethical dilemma where both of the obvious options are 'lose' options. The first one to be 'you must provide us with your details or we cannot go ahead as we are required to report it to CPS' and the second being what happened here. The first one would likely lead to that child not getting help and thus LAF would be able to say that they refused to help a pregnant child because they have to report the details.

During the process of their talk the age of the supposed boyfriend was revealed which was 31 yrs old. The staffer then proceeded to say she never heard that age and moved on without filing a police report which is not only illegal, but disturbing to not report a pedophile. Whether she wanted to know or not is irrelevant. She did know & did nothing.

The HIPPA patient confidentiality laws specifically say that they do not stop child sexual abuse reporting requirements. House even did an episode around this point. The police could have caught him, could have gotten him away from the child he is abusing, but because PP broke the law he is still walking free with a little girl in his house. I'm a mandated reporter and work with kids alot. Being forced to report abuse indirectly increases abuse because victims are less likely to reach out and tell me (trusted adult) about it. Therapist know this best when someone who's gone through tramuma wants to tell someone and get help, but arn't ready for the shit storm or cops and court cases.

The one with the boyfriend I would tell, "I didn't hear that, but I'd think about what you're doing". The one who was actually sexually abused I'd give immediate help too. Honestly, you can't blame one employee's slip-up of behavior on the entire facility.
It was the human being's bad advice, not Planned Parenthood's. There are no guidelines telling that woman to give that advice to the child, it was unauthorized advice and it was by no means motivated by the rest of the facilities..
She was FIRED. That obviously means this is not something they stand for.

The baby has nutrients and oxygen delivered to its blood by its mother's blood, which passes close enough together to make the exchange, but the blood NEVER mixes. And besides that, a woman is not legally allowed to take her own body and rob a bank, drive drunk, or even sell herself as a prostitute. Yet she can legally kill a human being because it's 'her body.'

It isn't easy, of course, but let the rapist pay for his crimes, not his child. Even an embryo is a living human, just as toddler, infant, and fetus are names for developmental stages of a living human. She isn't forced to raise the child, but would always know she didn't victimize a 2nd human.

What about that trauma? In addition, women die every year from botched abortions, so she could pay with her own life for a man's actions. Do you know how many cases of child abuse, and child rape (this case shown here would be rape), are reported to state officials each year? Do you know how many convictions come of those reports? Interesting what LAF did. They put a particular counselor under an ethical dilemma where both of the obvious options are 'lose' options. The first one to be 'you must provide us with your details or we cannot go ahead as we are required to report it to CPS' and the second being what happened here. The first one would likely lead to that child not getting help and thus LAF would be able to say that they refused to help a pregnant child because they have to report the details.

If you think child sexual abuse should be hidden then go start a campaign to change the laws but child sexual abuse reporting is the law and Planned Parenthood needs to follow it.

i did not say i in any way agreed with child sexual abuse but in this instance There WAS No Sexual Abuse,what there was,was a trained actress coaxing planned parenthood's counselor's into making them feel sorry for her which was directed speciificlly to make these staffers vulnerable they thought this was a girl in need.The fact is the Staffer was lied to, to lose her job over a few misguided documetaryists with hidden camera's,What about H.I.P.P.A & a patients right to privacy?what about hers.

She was under the impression that a 31 YEAR OLD MAN was having sex with her. Any rational adult should know to step in on this poor girls behalf, not try to be her pal and let something as disgusting and horrid as that just pass by as if it is no big deal because the girl "made her feel bad".

If the staffer had done her job and reported the deplorable situation of a grown man having sex w/ a 13 yr old then they would have found out it was a hoax. Then the undercover reporter would have been to blame, but instead the staffer ignored what was shared. You don't protect a pedophile in the name of confidentiality.

@BlueRainsRed The facts are the following from the staffer's perspective: A girl claiming to be 13 yrs old came in to inquire about an abortion. During the process of their talk the age of the supposed boyfriend was revealed which was 31 yrs old. The staffer then proceeded to say she never heard that age and moved on without filing a police report which is not only illegal, but disturbing to not report a pedophile. Whether she wanted to know or not is irrelevant. She did know & did nothing.

The HIPPA patient confidentiality laws specifically say that they do not stop child sexual abuse reporting requirements. House even did an episode around this point. Planned Parenthood even agrees that this sexual abuse should be reported.

Some snoopers found out it was her father who got her pregnant. I do not know if PP knew that part at the time though. They took the boast off their website days later. Look it up.-

And PP's obligation to be confidential is no more ethically necessary than their obligation to inform appropriate law enforcement when a girl comes in explaining that she was raped but is too afraid to tell the cops herself.-

For example, while PP still lies and says that a fetus is not an actual human just a potential human, this clinic explains the scientific fact that a fetus is a human but not necessarily the moral equivalent of a person.

@BlueRainsRed The conversation has not drifted. What PP is doing is wrong. They let this man who raped his 11 year old daughter go. The police could have caught him, could have gotten him away from the child he is abusing, but because PP broke the law he is still walking free with a little girl in his house. These reporters are trying to show people this so that we can make PP stop it. I think that this is a good thing and I feel anyone who -wants- to cover for the rapist is evil.

I am very pro science actually. But there is no scientific definition of a human being, human being=total human or conscious human, by either of those definitions it's hard to place a fetus in the early stages of development as a human being.

PP would have had legal action taken against them had they not fired her. Doesn't mean they agreed.
I'm a mandated reporter and work with kids alot. Being forced to report abuse indirectly increases abuse because victims are less likely to reach out and tell me (trusted adult) about it. Therapist know this best when someone who's gone through tramuma wants to tell someone and get help, but arn't ready for the shit storm or cops and court cases.
Its alot to handle.

Perhaps Legally she was sexually abused. But by that standard my girlfriend raped my two years ago.....No I don't agree with abortion so I'll not address that point. I addressed how being a mandated reporter of abuse is harmful to children earlier, like 3 months ago when I posted that. People are far less likely to come out and seek help for abuse when they know they are going to be dragged through the courts to relive there trauma. Baby steps. Therapy, then courts.

I don't consider any non forced consenting act of sex with people who are competent as to what sex is "abuse". Illegal definitely. If one 14yo told me she had been raped. and another one told me she had a 25yo boyfriend. I would handle the 2 situations completely differently. The one with the boyfriend I would tell, "I didn't hear that, but I'd think about what you're doing". The one who was actually sexually abused I'd give immediate help too. Its not that the nurse didn't care.
