  • @Solitaire8888 You troll! XD

  • I love dancing to this song :D such a great song I always get a big smile on my face <3

  • please, anyone who doesn't think this is a classis is mistaken. this song is instantly recognizable when you hear it. that's classic...

  • amazing

    one of the greatest songs

  • This is definetely goth and was a club favorite back in the late 90's :)

  • this is goth

  • @dy30n this is true black metal

  • @Waver80 Unsteadiness? Defining genres is necessary and rational. Each music genre is defined by musical sound, lyrics, influences, technique, etc. To ignore or mislabel the artist and the art they create for what it is...is just disrespectful.

  • I think a few people have their genres mixed up... Suspiria is goth, 45 grave is punk, and darkwave is a genre unto itself, just like coldwave, shoegaze, deathrock, horror punk, etc. Try not to believe everything that Wikipedia says.

  • I met Mark at "Carnival of souls" in '97 or '98. Spent a few hours hanging out at Trovor's mail order shop in Nottingham the next day. Think Trevor's band was called Midnight Configuration and I think the mail order company / record company was called Nightbreed. Mark sent me a copy of an album he did with a band after called Intravenous(spelling?), all the way to sunny South Africa. Was the last time Garden of Delight performed live before doing Diary of Dreams.

  • @Ventro69

Mark used to work in the Nightbreed shop and you're right, Trevor's band was called Midnight Configuration...I knew him personally as I used to go to Nottingham a lot and spend a lot of time and money in the Nightbreed store...it sadly closed at the end of 2001...the band you mentioned was called 'Intra Venus'and they had an album out not long before the shop closed,if I remember correctly...!

  • I'm so crazy about this song !!

Wicked tune, crazy voice (remind me a little of The Sisters)

    But no,that's - SUSPIRIA!

    :)

  • @talmilan

Tal Milan.. allegedly a dancefloor hit.

  • @industrialborn Point taken. It is true that age does bring a certain measure in this genre in terms of being 'classic', however I do think there are many things that factor in to that description. It's classic to me in the sense that it invokes a certain set of aesthetic traits inherent in all great art forms. So to me, in that sense, it is just as classic as the afforementioned bands. Cheers!

  • powerful dark art....classic death rock.

  • @ElegyofMadeline there is nothing classic about this band. christian death were classic deathrock. 45 grave were classic deathrock. suspiria is just from a new wave of darkwave bands from the 90's.

  • Hummm...

Suspiria don't have nothing in common with Joy Division, but sometimes they sounds like a cross between Christian Death and the Sisters of Mercy in the early years.

The voice still remain a young Andrew Eldritch, but Suspiria have a great identity too.

    Hugs from Brazil!
