  • Can anyone identify the one that looks just like this with only 3 knobs? It is a Jackson Star model....I am trying to identify the one I am looking at buying for $550 Canadian. It also has shark fin inlays. I found one that looks just like the one I want to get but it has a gold plate on it so I am guessing it is a different model.

  • is it me or do the ltd models have a different body shape than the other jackson rhoads guitars today

  • @corpralkirsch yeah their much bigger, I used to own 2 concordes... the 92 ltd and the relic concorde. sold em though - not as good as one may think. If u ever get one though get the 1992 model. It plays ALOT better then the relic'd version

  • @TigertailzBezerk yeah, im actually building one, im just a dishwasher so its a bit pricey for me, id hace too save up for almost two years to buy one

  • @corpralkirsch They are indeed expensive, Way too over priced in my opinion. Building one is a good route to go - good luck with your project

  • @TigertailzBezerk thank you im sure ill be happy with the end result even if it isnt perfect

  • They need to just put the Concorde in production for normal folks, still leave the limited run overpriced exact replica relic for the rich collectors. Then everyones happy.

  • how much did that guitar cost

  • Nice job!

  • maaaan i want that guitar

  • you lucky bastard :)))))))

    love your vids

  • damn thats one sweet axe man!!!

    wish i could afford it

  • dude is the 3 way swicth on the top ?? like RRs had it originally

  • Awesme guitar, how much did it cost?

  • dang

    nice guitar

but that was a lot of noise

    but sweet guitar

  • how much did you pay for that?

  • he paid around 12000 im sure... but the new one is coming.. exactly like randy's guitar with the ducktape on the back, etc...

  • @kevenharbour Is that the one there only making about 40 of ?

  • @kevenharbour Yea. I'm gonna buy a Jackson RR copy and put on the pinstripes on it and paint the hardware gold. Then put duck tape on the back, switch the PU selector on the side of the body. \m/

  • dude I want this guitar so bad. I had the chance to buy it but instead I got an RR1 and a KE2. But I still want it:P

  • GREAT JAM , JANI RULES, ALZ

  • is this some special type of rhoads - please tell it looks awesome

  • It's a 1992 limited reissue of the first Randy Rhoads model that Jackson made for him. The second prototype was the model we all know as Jackson Rhoads but the original version had shorter wings and lots of other differences as well.

  • @RR0849 how much did that run you? i've seen simmilair guitars going for 10k+

  • @ryan4951 A little over 2k euro. I sold it for the same price. This is from the original 92 series not one of the new reissues which for some reason are priced really high. I can't understand paying 10k for a limited edition when you can get 3 unique custom orders to your own specs for that price.

  • @RR0849 maybe it was one of the originals, i dunno it looked really old

  • @RR0849

Reason is, unfortunately the 92 run wasn't very accurate. For instance, no Floyd Rose on Randys guitar. But that's obviously not the only thing. Also, the new run was EXTREMELY limited. And the price is actually Randys birthday, $12,619.65, December 6, 1965.

  • @axegrinder87 That was my point. The price is all hype - it's still like any other CS Jackson. They always leave room for improvement on the specs so they can do a more accurate, more limited and more expensive run later. It's business. 92 run had both FR and vintage trem version but overall they were far from accurate. The reliced ones are the most accurate I've seen. Nice guitars all of them. :)

  • @RR0849 I agree. To be honest, I think there's only one I want. And that's Randys :P

Shame he died before the 3rd prototype came about, with Grover Jacksons new ball bearing based Floyd Rose killer :(

    Nice playing by the way.

  • @2ndperspective yeah as he said limited edition but they have now released a recreation of the actual one randy played it has been properly reliced ect check it out at the jackson website the price is high but deff worth it if you can afford

  • Actually, Randy DID use a Floyd occasionally. It wasn't a lot, but he did use it in a few songs.

  • ur retarded it was like a fender vitage tremolo

  • no... u cant use a floyd occationally whwen u dont have one. he did whammy though...

  • you see it has a floyd rose, which randy never used.

  • @SharksInBacon foo randy did use a floyd

  • find me proof.

  • Randy's Prototype guitar by Jackson had a floyd so dont try and tell me i know my facts about Randy

  • no he didnt.

  • but is jackson?? original Randy guitar

  • dude, why not make one :D i love these guitars to but instead of giving fuking 5 grand to Jackson im going to make one myself over the holidays for 1,200 :P

  • If you ever plan on selling this guitar

    Pease let me know

I've have always wanted this guitar

  • Already sold it. :(

  • how much was it when u bought it

  • why would u sell this i would give my left nut to have this thing. Randy rhoads he my hero the only reason why i play guitar

  • @RR0849 that was dumb

  • is that a free floating tremolo?

  • It's a recessed Schaller FR so yes it's a floating tremolo.

  • LTD means limited edition, not ESP LTD you unintelligent nimwits.

    nice job dude. 5/5

  • Man, this rocked! Way to post non-commercially successful Ozzy that rules!

  • dude that guitar rocks. how did you get that i have been looking for one of those and cant find 1

  • Thanks! I bought it used from a friend. They pop up on Ebay from time to time if you keep looking.

  • Lol My Favourite guitar, hopefully it will be mine someday...damn that thing is cool, nice Cover man!

  • wow! I love your megadeth cover, and now randy rhoads covers to! your amazing!!

  • Hey dude, i have the same guitar. I have problems with my saddles slipping and the holes strip out when i try to tighten the screws. I think it's the licensed Floyd Rose instead of a Genuine Floyd Rose. I own two other guitars with a Genuine Floyd Rose and i dont have this problem with them. I use 11-49 strings at 1/2 step tuning.

  • That's a common problem with Jackson/Schaller JT590 bridge. The base plate is softer material than on an original Floyd Rose. I usually buy longer screws if the holes are stripped and just try and be careful of never overtightening. One friend who owns a LTD RR had to change the baseplate to a new Schaller.

  • Haha, yeah it is softer. Thanks for the tip. Awesome Job by the way. You showed me how the studio version of the song is played.

  • wow.. nevermind lol

  • does that model rhoads have a floyd on it?? i thought that model comes with a regular tremolo like the fender style trems. little bit confused. otherwise awesome guitar and awesome cover. 5 stars.

  • Thanks! The original 1992 limited run included both versions. Circa 75 percent of them came with Schaller FR like this one and the rest with vintage trem.

  • Wooooo! awesome guitar! Those are soo rare :(

  • great solo, and incredible sound

  • this is madness! :D good job

  • You borrowed that Rhoads from one of the Jackson guitar palace members, right?

  • He is the administrator of Jackson Guitar Palace... and as far as I know it is his guitar

  • good job bro...i have actually been playing that song since i first heard it in 1981. you did a great job of interpeting it..i give ya 5 major stars

  • Thanks! You could do this one much better man. You have Randy's style down better than anyone I know.

  • Oh god I love this album so much.

  • Wow, great job Jani!

    AND SWEET GUITAR!!!

  • wow man that is legendary

  • Woah...a limited edition Rhoads...SWEET!

    That's worth £12,000...

    Wicked solo btw :)

  • Weird doubletracking?! That's a big part of Randy's sound! o/

Anyway, great guitar and video! 5 stars.

  • Thanks! Usually Randy is right on top with the other guitar track but on this it's hard to tell what's going on. I guess that's why it wasn't covered on YouTube yet or at least I didn't see a version.
