  • Brad, real good video. I remember a few years ago we there was a big snowstorm the driver had a tough time lining up the rail wheels. I don't know if it was the equipment, the person driving it. or alittle of both, but you handled it with ease. Good job, thanks for the video.

  • Cool. Here in the Boston area, the above ground streetcar and heavy rail lines are kept open during snow by running cars continuously all night. If snow gets too heavy, they do have plows, but they're strictly rail vehicles.

  • Once the track is cleared by the tractor the streetcar has little trouble keeping it passable, we do have little plows mounted to knock down street dept. windrows. I have read of North Shore Line, CTA, Denver, and other systems would put extra cars on to keep track and or wire clear.
