Thank you for this video. It is beautiful. My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering from this condition . I have had it for over a year now, and I have to say it has been the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. no one can see it, or understand it, except for other IC sufferers. We must stick together and keep praying for a cure.

Thank you Jamie Rose for encouraging others who suffer with IC. I was diagnosed with IC in June of 1997 and it is a torturous disease. I want to share what happened to me in hopes that you will be touched also. I was in so much pain and I was praying desperately for God to heal me. One Sunday in August of '97 I was in church and I raised my hand during worship. I had the sensation of oil being poured over me. From that point on I have not had one more symptom. I pray the same for you.

What a fantastic video! The tears kept coming as I read and watched and realize that I am not alone with this terrible disease. My IC seems to be a little under control these days with having frenquent 'uracyst' instillations It'd be nice too though if my urologist took my pain and disease seriously... :(

37 years for me. I just started Aloe Vera capsules three days ago and am back to normal once ever half hour. Flare was 8 months long once every 3 minutes. :(

I never thought how grateful I would be for 30 min. urgency.

All the beautiful young, formerly vibrant women (mostly) and men who contend w/this every day......I wish us all peace from this syndrome and pray that one day God will give the researchers the knowledge they need to kill this beast.

I am an 18 year old male who has been struggling with IC for 12 or 13 years I was 1 of 100 children in the world diagnosed. luckily I don't have so much of the urgency just the pain every time i urinate. It is so much fun... not I can not remember what its like to piss in peace. I remember sitting on the toilet crying as a 7 year old confused and in pain. best of luck to all. I've given up on treatment and am just dealing with it. i got used to the pain about 7 years after being diagnosed

This is incredible! Thank you so much for making such an important and beautiful video to support all of us with this disease. We pray for a cure as well, and esp. since I can't do any of the treatments it is so frustrating. I am getting married in a couple of days and I want everyone out there to know there are men who will be patient and kind, never getting angry or frustrated with you. There are ways to enjoy love without pain, so research tons until you find alternate ways to love your man!

I too have felt the same way. Don't tell your DR mine sent me out of here office with out even my blood pressure meds. But keep talking, it will get better! Just keep searching until u find a Dr who knows and cares!

im only seventeen and im suffering from this..ive lost so many friends and i cant enjoy anything anymore. if i go somewhere it has to be a place with a restroom. sometimes i think it is nerves that causes the urges to urinate but i dont know how to stop that. i have thought suicide would b best so many times..if it was for my boyfriend or a few friends i wouldnt wana live today..i want some friends with ic so hit me up!!

This was 4 months ago but do you still have the symptoms? I'm fighting it with everything I've got but this video just made me want to say "fuck it" and jump off a cliff.

Have you made any dietary changes to fight this? There are people out there who have clawed their way out of this hell...I can tell you what I've learned...hopefully you might be another one of those people.

Interstim therapy or botoux should be investigated it may help some..

As tears fall down my face, I watch your video and think of all the millions of lives affected, of our spouses, children and friends who have watched us suffer and the loss hurts my heart. I too pray for a cure and pray for understanding from my loved ones. Your words and photos touched my soul. I am a 32 year old male. and IC has taken over my life. I regulary urinate 70 times a day and the pain is over the top. When my bladder fills, it feels like it's filling with acid. My prayers to all of you who are suffering from this

I watch this video and I ma in tears becuz I know what you are going through. I though that I had cancer becuz of the constant stabbing pains and the feeling that something is eating you up inside. It is just horrible and I have contemplated suicide many many times. My life is ruined and it is just shameful that some doctors could look at IC patients and say that the pain is all in your head.......

Im 24 years and I was just diagnosed with IC. It is a living nightmare. The pain - The stress - The amount of time you hafta go to the washroom. It is really nerve wrecking and I do not want to live the rest of my life with this :(

Hey Jamie, I know all that you are going through. I too have IC and other health problems that go alone with it. I was DX in 1997. I am 33yrs old and it is hard for anyone to understand that internal pain that we experience.

Although there is no known cure...have you read about the bacteria that may be causing IC.

It's still not proven but has had a few studies on it.
