THe only reason Melbourne took Watts was because he is Victorian and Naitanui is from WA... bit of a risk drafting players from other states these days.

its never really a risk with WA/SA players, because there is a 14/16 chance they will be in Vic, AND they have already spent a year out of school (because we end year 12 at 17). It's more of a problem with the Vic Metro kids who are still at school and aren't prepared to leave their families. Vic Country are alright because there's not much difference between a 3 hour drive and a 3 hour flight.

Played less than 90 mins of football in the AFL, and already has that!. Judd had silky skills and accelaration, Nick has the ball on a string. He is like a puppet master

I just paid $40 to get this match on DVD from AFL Name-a-Game, so I can watch that last quarter over, and over, and over again.....
The great thing is with Naitanui doing all this forward, Cox can come in and do his thing in the ruck and Naitanui can keep developing and having games like this down forward then relieving Cox in the ruck here and there when Cox needs a rest.

the ground was SOAKED by then.
he had the right technique, just didnt factor in how soaked the ground was. just had to pound it into the ground harder.

Anyone seen any footballer like him before? I sure haven't. He's tall, strong, freakishly quick and has a real hunger for the footy.
