I'm a dancer I have been dancing since i was 2 an we wear these outfits for certain reasons, 1 they present dancers lines in which judges can see and critic dancers on and 2 they do set the mood for a routine. This is also a hip hop competition so that is why they are doing some of what u people call inapprpriate "grinding" if your watching this and thinking this is wrong, go fuck yourself because these girls are my idols and I'm 17 and they are incredible dancers!!!!!!

Well first, its not really the parents fault. They usually don't see their costumes until the day of the performance(unless they took it home and showed their parents but still lol) and it's the dance teacher who picked the costumes out. And it's not like the little girls could say no. Their a team.

for those people who claim that those clothes are for maximum mobility and such.... think about this--there are plenty of one-piece outfits that would had done that job well. They didn't need to expose so much of their midriff. go to kellecompany . com and go to the kids' dance costume category... there you can see clothes that would had been better alternatives and worked so much better. So as you can see, they did not need to put those 7-year-olds girls into such provocative clothing.

I saw the video. I'm a parent to a little boy. They should have either changed the outfits or changed the dance routine a bit. Its one thing if they were doing a cutie pie dance in those outfits, but the fact is they were doing a lot of hip thrusting dance motions. With that dance, it would've been better with a unitard.

Eh, I think people should calm down and think about this. This is a dance competition. While I think some of the actual dance moves are maybe a little provocative, there's nothing wrong with what they're wearing. They're not at school or whatever. They're wearing this to dance in. I doubt the parents would take their kiddos to visit grandma in these outfits.

It's mostly not the fact that the parents are letting their girls wear this, but it's the fact that the dance teacher chose for this to be the costume. Being a dancer, i know what it's like, and you'll see every year atleast one group of little girls wearing short 'skanky' costumes, and really it's not the parents choice. I personally find the dancing more offensive than the costume.

'what they're dressed in is a big deal'? People say nothing about swimsuits because they're considered appropriate in the right context. Dance COMPETITIONS are the right context. Theyre not wearing these costumes out in the streets. You see those kind of costumes on little girls at dance competitions all the time; it makes it easier to dance. If you've never been to a competition, they are big with people who either dance, parents of dancers, and friends of dancers, but not many other people attend so it's not like any and everyone is going to see these girls dancing like this. & the parents didnt put up the video for the public to see, that was a company's decision. Maybe you should look into a situation a little more before you so easily pass judgment.

I'm a dancer I have been dancing since i was 2 an we wear these outfits for certain reasons, 1 they present dancers lines in which judges can see and critic dancers on and 2 they do set the mood for a routine. This is also a hip hop competition so that is why they are doing some of what u people call inapprpriate "grinding" if your watching this and thinking this is wrong, go fuck yourself because these girls are my idols and I'm 17 and they are incredible dancers!!!!!!

They usually don't see their costumes until the day of the performance(unless they took it home and showed their parents but still lol) and it's the dance teacher who picked the costumes out. And it's not like the little girls could say no. Their a team.

ok first off they are at a dance competition oviously you dont know our dance world....and they are 8 and 9 for your info so really you need to know about the dance world before you want to comment on these girls they dance in wat they can move in for the dance moves they are doing.....they would not be able to dance in jeans and a shirt for wat they are doing and there are way worse costumes that they culd be wearing...n it aint like they walkin around dressed like dat...
