I was there. My 26th birthday. Drove from Anderson, SC with my wife (her b-day present to me).Took 9 hours, almost all at night. Shootout game, lotsa adult beverages, good tailgating food, and a Gamecock victory. Follow that up with a crazy night on Beale Street. Awesome day, one of my best ever. Go Gamecocks! BTW, the Houston fans were very cool, we partied with some of them in the lot. Good times.
