@Penguin0fDoom6z The color red doesn't have to do with the pigment color. They're pink because they're albino. The scales along the body are red, like a normal red oscar

hey thanks yea i accually moved some furnature around and i got a 75 gallon. it has one tiger oscar (2") along with 2 pictus cats, 4 silver dollar tetras, and one pleco. im thinking about getting a jack dempsey aswell but if i do then im not adding anything else cuz i dnt wanna overstock

can one tiger or red oscar live alone in a 20 gallon tank?? im aware of there large adult size which can be like 12" so im guessing that 20 gal. wud be small but im just double checking

hell no! one oscar NEEDS at least 55gal! that is the least. most people say it should be at least 75 but i think 55 is ok. dont you even think about getting one for a 20gal. i have two that live in a 150gal by themselfs. in 20gal it would even be able to turn around after half a year. and that doesnt mean you can buy a new tank after half a year because you cant change a tank an oscar has grown used to. they stop eating and sometimes die. for an extra $25 (petcom pricing) get a 55.

yes thank you for asking, but one of them die today on 2-2-2008 and i brought them on 12-26-2007. I took the dead fish back and got a new fish. walmart gives you a 90 day exchange of your dead fish or money back. most place will only give you 10 days to 2 weeks for exchange.
