I still get goosebumps when it gets to 1:20, and the "28 Weeks Later" music kicks in. It was very exciting to watch this teaser for the first time, and yes, I know I'm one of the few people who loved it :P

I completely agree.

I found this Trailer more relative to the film than the second trailer. The second trailer gave to much away (which is why everyone was so familiar with the plot). It also seemed the need to show action and loud epic music. This should've been the only trailer released for the film. I never understood what was so dissapointing about this trailer. The editing has a fantastic tone of a new existance, replenishment, discovery, and most of all, Pandora!

Did I mention conflict and love. The trailer mixes the conflict between the Navi and Humans perfectly. Then the trailer ends with the heart and soul of the film; the relationship between Jake and Neytiri.

I',m not sure, but the film was recored in a different way than normal to make the 3D look awsome. I almost didn't watch it in 3D but it changed the movie from being a great sci-fi flick to a game changing beheamoth

What's weird is that the special effects in this teaser don't look that much different to what was in the recent trailer, yet the reception for that was far better than it was for this. I'm gonna say it was due to the plot revelations in the trailer that gave it more impact and not the visuals, which didn't really change from what was in the teaser (which apparantly had "video game" quality visuals).

The plot is nothing new. There are many movies about oppressed natives fighting off a force of colonizers. The special effects are good, though.
