phil...dedicated to his mother...what a talent...what a band...certainly my all-time favorite....we'll never see the likes of this group again....with phil gone...and now gary....god bless them....thin lizzy will always rock on in my world though!
@TheMichaelseymour Yes this is where Thin Lizzy got really great with the duo of Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham..2 of my fav guitarist ever..Peace and Long live Thin Lizzy..
@Booberry82 Phil could have been a amazing trad singer if he decided to go into that sort of music. I think he dabbed with it during the beginning of his career as a musician in Dublin, along with folk and blues.
Zerwała mi słuchawki, trzepnęła i wyrwała walkmana...
the song i guess about a lost soul that never forgot his dear mother for if it wasn't for we would not have been blessed with this banging song after all this brother has been through ......GODbless her and dublin and the band. r.i.p phil lynott we lost one too all thin lizzy troopers rock on.
Utterly fab.

I knew, I knew, I knew I could count on a fellow Irishman to writ a song about such a melodic name. I love it.

Its interesting that his accent never sounded so strong, like he's paying homage to his ma and all that he left behind for the road.
