  • I am a white male who happens to live in a dominantly black area. I have been pulled over no less than 30 times in the last 5 years for what I would say was no reason at all, other than I am out of place to them at certain times of the day/night. Some times it is no big deal,5/10 minutes. Sometimes it is more intense. I am ask to get out of my car, searched, asked demeaning questions, and treated as highly suspect. It stopped a year ago when I put a big F.O.P. sticker on my back window, strange.

  • @62636263c My apologies. Unfortunately we cant live together in the same neighborhood without these guys thinking that you're some type of "drug supplier" to us project dwellers. Its just insane. Im the last person to pretend as if there's no crime that happens in urban areas, but police act like its just in those areas. If they went down to wall street and actually did their job they'd have a field day with the crime that goes on there, they wont though, thats where their paychecks derive.

  • @TruthOverFacts I agree. This is one reason we have the war on drugs, to divert attention from the real criminals in high places, and also to provide work for the growing law enforcement community. They will need a large security force that is completely loyal, well armed, and well trained. The war on drugs accomplishes both through fear in the public, and extortion from the perceived criminals. End this war and there house of cards swiftly falls apart. Truth is powerful thing.

  • Don't sweat it guys...

When the economic collapse comes (And it IS coming...) Those who are retired and receive a pension....wont.

Those on the force will take a HUGE pay cut & work for next to nothing. Those with half a brain will re evaluate how they look at the system of FAIL.

  • People tend to forget the bad times when things are great. anyone remember 1991? mayor dinkins had a "hands off" approach in regards to policing. the numbers reflect that as well, stop and frisks were near an all time low. on the other side of the coin, murders, rapes and car thefts were at an all time high. fast foward to 2011 when stop and frisks are at an all time high. All of the above major crimes were near record lows. coincidence? maybe, maybe not. only time will tell

  • @Ten90z Those statistics corollate more to the levels of poverty/drug activity than a hands off or the stop and frisk approach. Time has certainly told that story. Go to a so-called middle class/upper class neighborhood and your answer would be right on the street you're standing on. Have the CIA stop supplying drugs to those neighborhoods then drug dealers and the crime that is associated with that activity instantly disappear. Allow for more than just a "public education system" 4 education.

  • @TruthOverFacts so what your saying is that poverty is less prevalent now? with the unemployment rate being at it's highest since the 1960's? i hope your being facetious. you must be. i know you didn't just accuse the CIA of supplying drugs to the inner city. Either your sarcasm dosen't translate well over text...or you're fresh out of the black panther rally, ready to stick it to whitey. i'm sorry but you just lost all credibility.

  • @Ten90z Typical. Claiming to know more about one's life/environment than the person actually living it. I cant get my point across in 400 characters. Like I said, if you actually want to learn something given that a person such as myself living in the very environment obviously cant know anything about their environment (in your eyes atleast) Go listen to Tim Wise and learn something.

As for your CIA/black panther comment. Here you go, take it from a white man.

    watch?v=UT5MY3C86bk

  • fun fact; in 2011 blacks compose 24 percent of New York City’s population. However, committed 68.5 percent of all murders, rapes, robberies, and assaults in the city last year, according to victims and witnesses. They were only 55 percent of all stop-and-frisks. Seems to me blacks are stopped less often as per the crimes allegedly committted. the new york times can spin the facts however they please... but it's hard to argue with numbers.

  • @Ten90z I would respond to your your fun facts with a more complete version, however, I think you'll be able to take heed to that very information if it came from a white guy. Look up on youtube a gentleman named "Tim Wise- The pathology of white privilege". Check that out, look at those fun facts you presented and realize how bias they truely are.

Tim got some real fun facts for you to learn. Or should I say "accurate facts".

  • @TruthOverFacts He touches on so many points.Quite a few are valid, some i disagree with. The elvis fact was funny at first, then very disheartening.it does give me new perspective on the subject however it does not detract from the facts i stated earlier.he only brielfy touches on the topic of policing.as far as SQF's are concerned, it dosen't change my mind. they are a great legal tool and have helped clean up the city. white priveledge doesn't make black people commit crimes.

  • @Ten90z It wasnt meant to change your mind. It was to present the facts. I can see however just by your ending statement that you obviously dont get the point. You dont have to understand, it doesnt effect you in that capacity, so me debating with you even if what im saying is factual doesnt matter. You have the advantage of not having to understand. Enjoy it. I'll enjoy mines in the coming life.

  • @Ten90z Here. Some more stuff for you. watch?v=ldeg65vgjoQ

Also, I didnt hear a response from you when I sent you what the a former cop said about the REAL way drugs are being distributed. I'd like to continue that convo. Maybe the panters, the people who were never listened to or taken seriously were right. Anyway. Watch the clip I just sent you. Lets educate one another brother.

  • @TruthOverFacts Watched. Definate bad apples. Does it happen every day? Surely. But the majority of the drugs being brought in isn't by CIA/FBI/NYPD. IMO. There are some issues here we are discussing i'm not equipped to debate with you... This being one of them. I don't want to argue for or against, simply because i don't know enough on the subject. this all stemmed from stop, question, frisks. i truly believe people point fingers (especially at police) when something goes

  • @TruthOverFacts cont... wrong just because it's easiest. stopping crime in a big city is a complicated subject, with many facets to consider. i can appreciate the fact that you allow my responses/reposts. it honestly speaks volumes. you should hear whats its like from the other side of the shield. might change a few opinions of your own.

  • @Ten90z PT.1 I hear you and I'll respect it. Seeing that you feel that you're not equipped to debate this subject with me then I would also have to say that we cannot debate the initial talk as well, because stop and frisk is based on illegal activities. But if the very people that are being frisked are saying that "its not me, I dont control the ports/waterways" and yet they're still stopped and frisked what do you expect them to do? I thought that to fight crime you must go to the source?

  • @TruthOverFacts No not the initial talk, just about drug trafficking. Now be honest with me... In bad nieghborhoods as far as the police are concerned, it's damned if you do, damned if you don't. I can understand innocent people don't like being stopped. But how are crimes to be solved then? Not stop anybody? Take peoples word for it? If that were the case then nothing would get done. It's the nature of the beast.

  • @TruthOverFacts Pt 2, ask anyone thats been the victim of a real crime. What If your mother/sister/wife was robbed at gunpoint? wouldn't you want the police to stop anyone that REMOTELY fits the description? Of course you would. Now think every time you've been stopped. There is a person on the other end of that situation that HAS been assaulted/robbed/raped. I'm sure it sucks geing stopped and it's not fair but thats life. life isn't fair. especially for the victims

  • @TruthOverFacts If the police were nice and polite about the way they handle criminals, the city would be even worse than it is now. people in the hood love to hate the cops. its just the culture. i've seen mothers yell at their kids for waving hello to the police. "don't talk to the po-lice!" ...it's lunacy. the same person that calls for help will be the same person that takes a picture of their squad car parked on a fire hydrant. cops know they are hated... and you know what?

  • @Ten90z PT1The last time I checked police werent judges nor jury. For you to say that "If the police were nice about the way they handle criminals" just showed me that you've heard nothing I just said. It also shows me that police dont deal with people, they deal with criminals because everyone not holding a shield is obviously a criminal in the eyes of cops, especially in the "hood". Its in their "culture"???...as if police dont have a culture. That would be lunacy to pretend that they didnt.

  • @TruthOverFacts they still show up when you call. still take the "F**k you's" when trying to diffuse a situation. still walk into the project building even though peope are throwing eggs and dirty diapers from the windows. and not because it;s their job, because they actually give a shit, despite what some would like to think. call this a facsict goverment, call it corrupt, but it's what works. long story short.. if people don't like it here, boats and planes leave everyday

  • @Ten90z PT2. Mothers telling their kids not to wave to a person who will immediately identifie them as "criminals" by the time their 13 is a mother teacher her kid who their enemies are. take off the side of the car "courtesy, professionalism, respect" because thats not in play here by your own words. You dont deal with criminals, you deal with dispatches and personal predispositions about people you obviously dont try to get to know. We're just "project dwellers to you. I see it in your words.

  • @Ten90z PT.3 Never once do police (generally) even wonder why these people attitudes are like that towards you. Look at history all the way back when the name "officer" was "overseer". The pointing out, killing and imprisoning simply based on race. German shepards released on them, fire hose sprayed on them. You know this history just like I do, the difference is you have the convenience not to have to deal with the facts because the inequality is pushed in your favor as a cop and a white man.

  • @Ten90z Pt.4 So you go on and with your predetermined disposition of people who live in the projects (as if every last one of us live in the projects. Cool example Ten90) being criminals, and given that this entire just-us system never functions in the way they like to portray it to the public, you get pissed when some mother doesnt allow their child to say hello to you. Well, you're a cop, investigate. You really want to know why? Well here you go....

  • @Ten90z PT.5 Police, such as yourself look at us as criminals who can only live in the projects. Police have a superiority complex with them and its fueled by their work environment and the fact that they know nothing about the people they deal with because they dont even live in the area they work in. I just heard about the NYPD showing anti muslim videos in their depts. calling muslims "terrorists" because of what 19 guys ALLEGEDLY did on 9/11. I mean, how blind are you to this brother?

  • @Ten90z PT.6 (Final) its not in our culture to dislike you, its in the police culture to search and frisk us. Its in police culture to work in a section of a city that you understand nothing about because the section you work in you have never lived in. We know cops who work these neighborhoods dont live in these neighborhoods, yet for some reason it seems like you guys always know so much about this neighborhood. No, you know about your assignment yet arent smart enough NOT to generalize. Sad.

  • @TruthOverFacts Whats sad was my initial thoughts that you had some common sense. I was clearly wrong. You take my example of walking into the projects as "everyone in predominately black neighborhoods lives in the projects". This is not the case. But you would like to assume that i'm a white male and a police officer. Wrong on both. You know what happens when you assume, make an ass out of yourself. I'm neither white nor a police officer. You took my example of dealing with

  • @Ten90z PT.1 When you say that "I should see what its like on the other side of the shield" then I can only assume that you're either a cop or a person VERY close to cops. You never specified, so I assumed. That doesnt make an ass of me, thats taking what you said for what its worth. Also, Your racially charged yet inconclusive comment on the % of crimes by black people two whites which started this conversation in the first place left me to assume you were white given again, YOU didnt specify.

  • @TruthOverFacts 2, criminals, more accurately, someone who commited a crime and spun it so it sounds like everyone out there is a criminal. clearly YOU have some predetermined dispositions about authority figures. not only do you not answer any of my questions, but you dance around the facts i give. it's a classic absorb and deflect technique. you won't give clear consice answers to anything i've asked,

  • @Ten90z 3, what would you want the police to do if your mother was robbed? WHAT WOULD YOU WANT THE POLICE TO DO IF YOUR MOTHER WAS ROBBED?? Do me a favor and don't answer that, because you won't anyway. The only person here with a complex is you. not only have you made general assumptions about me (when you are chastizing police for doing THE SAME EXACT THING), you have managed to insult the victims of 9/11. ALLEGEDLY??? C'mon brother, really??

  • @Ten90z Pt.1 What would I want the police to do if my mother was robbed? Not a damn thing. First off police dont "prevent" ANY crime, they only react to them. I, as her son can do that myself. And if me and my family cannot get her things back ITS FINE, she's fine and doing well. We'll simply chalk it up as a loss of material. She's a hard worker and can always get it back. U see?

  • @Ten90z Pt. 2 As for your 9/11 comment, Its called INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. I dont care what the TV said. I practice self autonomy. I think for myself. Besides, YOU said I insulted the victims of 9/11, not one ACTUAL victim said that I insulted them. You're a drone dude. Have some balls to think for yourself and exercise your freedom of speeh/thought, EVEN IF that means insulting some or simply being right or wrong. that was a coward statement of urs, no wonder you need authority figures.

  • @Ten90z Pt. 3 the difference is I practice self autonomy while u (im assuming) simply follow orders from quote "authority figures". While ignoring true peace officers who will tell the director of the CIA to his face that he knows he's pumping drugs in the community and alluding to the fact that black panthers are just moaning people who need not to be listened to. This is your point of view bro....not mine. But I'll take your word for it. You're NOT informed enough to hold such a conversation.

  • @Ten90z Pt.2 Yes, I have a very predetermined disposition about authority figures. THATS THE POINT BROTHER. No cop has the right to put a hand on me simply because they have a "shield" and work for the department or think that im "suspicious". Yes I have a disposition about authority figures. One who holds authority must also lead by example. If you dont, I dont respect you because you're a hypocrite lying cheat. Its not hard, nor am I backing away from that very truthful statement of yours.

  • @Ten90z 4, Listen man, if you converted to islam good for you. but just because you've found god dosen't mean radical muslims weren't responsible for the crimes committed. and you ask me if i'm blind. are you? are you hitting the quoran that hard that you're convinced someone eIse is responsible?wow. it was nice trying to talk but this conversation is over. not because i concede to defeat or cause i have no leg to stand on. it's because you have gone off the deep end. good day sir

  • @Ten90z Im not muslim. Thats a pagan religion. Just because I state the truth that the NYPD are generalizing over 1 billion muslims terrorist simply because of what 19 people ALLEGEDLY doesnt make me muslim. Im just stating facts here. NYPD will be treating the 1 billion muslims just like they do, and have been doing black people here. "ITS IN THEIR CULTURE TO DO SO". See what I just did? You dont care, they're just muslims right? you're not equipped to handle such a convo. Lets just drop it.

  • @Ten90z Pt.2 If for decades people have said "look at Mena Arkansas/Iran Contra/military airplanes full of cocaine" and the people saying this is ignored yet are the same people stopped and searched like animals my humble (and I mean very humble) question to you is....when does one say "NO"? Things may be different on the other side of the shield but it should brother, you're a man just like I am. A shield doesnt change anyone's right to live free from constant suspicion and patdowns.

  • @Ten90z PT.3 If patting down an entire urban community for decades havent stopped the overall epidemic of drugs what does that say? Not to mention that the majority of people being patted down dont have anything on them, but its still a violation of their privacy. It seems brother that my privacy is only permitted after someone with a shield permits me to have that privacy until someone else with a shield decides to infringe on my privacy to make sure that my privacy is the way they left it.

  • @Ten90z PT.5 Now lets be honest, people with the shield would never do this to their friends and family. Not only that but they will protect their friends and family if they were to get into something which required police action. The rest of us are simply subject to what is decided for us by the ones with the shield, and if we dont love it we are seen as agitators and are subject to high aggression from people who turn around afterwards and say that they protect and serve me.

  • @Ten90z PT. 6 PLEASE, look at what im telling you. If the people that is supposed to be protected and served are saying that they're being stopped and abused, then who would know better than the person experiencing it? this is all im trying to say brother. It doesnt matter who brings in the drugs, that doesnt mean that I have to sell it to my people. Absolutely correct, but to make a whole community feel guilty or they "fit the description" is simply out of control.

  • @Ten90z Pt.7 FINAL. I have respect for the police, not because they're the police but because they're human beings. I dont like being ticketed or harrassed or talked down to or handcuffed or frisked or any of the above because I am a man Ten90z, a man with a family that I must protect, not you or anyone else with a shield. You need to protect you and yours which is more than understandable. All im saying is to PLEASE, listen to what people in my community is saying to you. No one ever does.

  • Unfortunatly, there are many 'bullies' who are employed as police officers. Good Video.

  • Didn't call you Dumb. I just thought your last comment was dumb. "I knew you were breaking the law because I asked and you said you did" . I replied with "Yup they were my fault .I'm not mad at the police." The bandana was just an example. Do you honestly think I feel cops should go after people with bandanas. Thugs tend to be bumping their shitty beats wearing dresses for shirts ,and pants that look like prison attire Etc,Etc. Dress like that ,and wonder why you get unwanted attention.

  • @S1lverwing So police gives unwanted attention to people attire? I agree. They assume based on attire, not based on ativity which is what their job actually entails. You shouldnt be mad at the police, you broke the law. These people are mad at the police because they didnt break the law but were profiled given their attire, skin, location in which they live etc.

Thank you for clearning that up for me. Takes a smart person to see that.

  • @TruthOverFacts It would be stupid to say that there are not racist cops out there ,But I do feel that profiling happens with others. Cops go after kids that look like punks too. Like skater ,and BMX kids, Because they may wear their hair to long or they may have funny looking outfits. Cops are always picking on Goths at the mall too. I think that most cops aren't as bad as you may think .

With all respect If I was a cop ,and I confronted someone that was verbally abusive they will get tickets

  • @S1lverwing Cops are always picking on Goths, people who look like what they consider thugs etc yet in the same statement you say that cops arent as bad as I think while concluding that if you confronted someone who was verbally abusive they'd get ticketed too.

Wow, there's so many things wrong in that statement on so many different levels. Nowhere do I see a violation of the law, but hey.....they're not bad, they'll just ticket you if they dont like your tone or your clothes or skateboard. XD

  • @TruthOverFacts Lol it does sound that way doesnt It. It's so hard to debate when YT only allows 500 characters. You have to forgive me ,but If I were a cop I would confront people who are breaking the Law. For instance If Person One is pulled over for speeding ,and when I confront him he starts yelling ,and acting up . You bet his ass is getting a ticket ,But If I pull over Person Two ,and he acts civil there is a better chance he will get off with just a warning.

  • @S1lverwing This video isnt about the cops who uphold the law. This is about the cops taking advantage of people by hiding behind law enforcement/the badge. I respect your overall point, but again, there's a difference between your opinion, though valid, and the activity thats happening to the people in the vid.

  • @TruthOverFacts I hear that man. We all have our opinions . But I would say your are right when comparing Urban ,and Sub-Urban Police Departments. I would think Cops in the City are more on edge. With out a doubt there are more crimes in the City compared to other communities .

  • Respond to this video.. " Cops are always picking on Goths, people who look like what they consider thugs etc yet in the same statement you say that cops arent as bad as I think" When I used The word cops I should have said the "Bad Cops". I truly don't think all Cops are bad, but some of those cops may be corrupt. If you can say " Thugs dont look alike, but wear the same uniform. You know... blue, badges and guns" Then you wonder why those cops might feel the same way ,but towards others

  • @S1lverwing Not all cops are bad, but im not sure what type of community you're from but that plays a part as well. In urban communities the experience with cops and their negative flagrant actions are common enough to generalize if you will. Not to say that there's no criminals in urban communities, but there are criminals everywhere no matter the community. The problem isnt even the profiling, the problem is the harassment when no crime has been committed.

  • I've been pulled over by cops many more times than the people on this video. Shit i got pulled over 3 times this month STOP Bitching Babies. Just don't get mad at the police when they pull you over It's most likely your fault you get pulled over.

  • @S1lverwing So you say that you were pulled over 3 times this month and for babies to stop bitching. You then stated not to get mad when police pull you over because its most likely your fault.

So I take it that the 3 times that you were pulled over it was your fault right?

  • @TruthOverFacts Yup they were my fault .I'm not mad at the police. If you do something wrong/dumb expect consequences. I wasn't bitching to others that I got pulled over .I just brought up the fact that I did get pulled over many times.

  • @S1lverwing Then you need to have your license taken away from you because being pulled over 3 times KNOWINGLY breaking your law then of course you cant get pissed at the cops if you knew yourself that you were breaking the law.

The video above isnt relevant to people on the road such as yourself willingly breaking the law. This is about cops harassing people while they should be looking for people like you willing breaking the law putting others at risk due to your recklessness.

  • @TruthOverFacts Well I'm glad you don't pass the laws ,because you have little reasoning. You have no idea why I got pulled over or confronted by police. What if I Didn't make a complete stop three times in a month ? Does my License need to be taken away lol?

The second paragraph you make me out to be an Outlaw which is very funny haha. One thing you have to know is Cops are always around crime. So they may have an idea of the people they need to be looking out for. thugs look alike

  • @S1lverwing Thugs dont look alike, but wear the same uniform. You know... blue, badges and guns. You were stopped because you broke the law. It doesnt matter what law was broken. But "im" the one with little reasoning.... says the person who knew he was breaking the law and did it 3 times in a month anyway. A person with a lack of reasoning certainly needs his liscense taken away, just like the thugs in blue who stop innocent people on the street because they think "thugs" look alike via skin.

  • @TruthOverFacts DUMB. You act like I knew I was breaking the Law I only admitted It was my fault that I did get pulled over . How can you decide I was intentionally breaking the Law? What Law did I break then ? Why are you bringing skin color into this?

You brought up the point that thugs look alike wearing The same uniform ,and badges ETC..... That's what I meant too. Thugs carry around colored bandanas like the cowboy outlaws that were hung on trees back when . Thugs have certain attire

  • @S1lverwing You call me dumb yet cant follow, another reason why I said that this video doesnt compare to your recklessness as a driver. I bring up skin color because the Cops in the video motives are racially charged. I knew you were breaking the law because I asked and you said you did. Thats a sad way for you to clean up your "thug" comment. Watching the video you dont see Colored bandanas etc. So your comment was based on something else, which I addressed just like I do those racist cops.

  • Mercy smh!! that's crazy..

  • GET out of the cities!

  • bronx is a hellhole.

  • Comment removed

  • And people wonder why there are riots in London right now!

  • @ArgentPure

London riots have nothing to-do with blacks being stopped & searched, Pakistanis have it worse than the blacks in uk, especially since 99% of em are Muslims, blacks used riots to rob people & burn everything (blacks & whites attacked the Pakistanis including Asians etc)

blacks have same education as others in uk, they compete with Pakistanis etc for jobs, mostly blacks in uk are considered part of the family, whereas the other minorities aren’t

  • Comment removed

  • It seems cops almost always hassle innocent people,I assume that why they do this is because criminals carry weapons.Cops are big and tough and talk a mean game when the citizen is unarmed, but when confronted by armed criminal then they cower, hide, get excited, and the big bad tough talking cop is now on the level of a mouse about to be stepped on by an elephant.Until of course they disarm the criminal then it's back to mean tough talk.

  • In every cop's mind there is a single thought ' I am the Law '. While this is a very sad video to watch, it's a good thing to put this out.

When they say 'serve and protect' they are talking about each other and nobody else.
