How do you zoom up on your mouse when recording the screencast? Which program is being used for the screencasting?

Dont know for sure, but a guess would be the compiz-feature zoom. usually when enabled hotkey SUPER + 1, SUPER + 2 and SUPER + 3. (Super = Windowsbutton)

The zooming isn't a program. It's a feature in Compiz-Fusion.

I believe he is using Avant Window Navigator.
You can find packages for your distribution by googling it and looking at the AWN wiki and go to downloads.

I'm using Ubuntu, and have been using the GNOME environment pretty much since I started.
It's good to know that screenlets is letting GNOME catch up to SuperKaramba.
