  • Them Elks is imported

  • The mountains of NC are being ruined by developers and loggers.

  • @1954phyllis Give it a couple years, every damn patch of land 'tween the Tennessee Line and Winston will be cleared out except the places with government protection (which ain't much). It kills me ever' time I go down the road and see a new lot bein' cleared off for some damn rich asshole's housin' development. Somethin' needs to change before there are no more Blue Ridge mountains to look at!

  • @Michaeldean88 You are right the beautiful mountains of NC are being totally ruined. Yes you are absolutely right something needs to be done about it.There is going to be 352 green apartments built in west Asheville. There goes more beautiful land. There is being so much of NC ruined by clear cutting. What it boils down to is alot of greed.

  • @1954phyllis Those things are popping up everywhere! I think there's about 6 new plots of land being cleared off between Mount Airy and Asheville for building projects around the size of what you're describing. I hate to say this if you're one of them and please don't take offense if you are. But, they are all for Rich yankees coming out of the overly populated Upper mid west and North East. They are so rude, annoying, environmentally retarded, and plain ol' greedy. I wish I could do something!

  • WOW - so like my home country of Scotland. Great viewing

  • @lochiel1745

This is where most of the Scots ended up, Virginia down to Georgia. Back in the 16th-17th Century when most of Europe was migrating to this continent.
