Prince of Persia - What Have You Done (Prince & Elika Tribute)

May I just say, the Prince is a dumbass?  I understand he did what he did because he cares for Elika, but he's still really stupid. I mean, what did he think would happen: Elika would throw herself into his arms proclaiming her love, and Ahriman would take a vacation from taking over the world?! I left a very big dent in my wall from where I banged my head multiple times after watching the ending...

@NCWC2 i like that they actually make the gamer himself set Ahriman free again, making you feel the weight of that choice. and despite that each gamer has their own reason to chop the trees again, the Prince explains in the Epilogue why he did it. Elika’s sacrifice would’ve been for nothing. Ahriman wasn’t defeated. So instead of going back to find Farah and his gold, he takes the hard way to make it right. Seems like something he hadn’t done in the beginning. I find that rather beautiful

@Jachangirl94 thank you :) the scenes are from the Epilogue. it’s a DLC that continues the story. it was released for consoles in March 2009, not for PC though. nice people uploaded walkthroughs here on YT. that's how i got the clips. you can also find the optional dialogues of the Epilogue separately on YT.

I like to play it just to immerse myself in that beautiful Ubisoft world. ;) Anyway, I think that the music choice was perfect for this video! Never have the "prince" and Elika been more emo. @PauseTheTragicEnding VERY interesting! I was not aware that Ubisoft had started work on a sequel to the 2008 game. This new bit of information gives me renewed hope! I do agree with you - another Sands game would be ridiculous, and I don't think that TFS was such a blockbuster that gaming authorities would want to resurrect it right away. Well, I will anxiously await a 2008 sequel. After all, when everything else is out of the box, all there's left is hope... ;)

Very good. I haven't played the game myself, so I can't really say whether or not the song fits the story, but it was very well suited and created that very dark, romantic and sad feeling that this song always gives me. It's like my own heart is broken every time I hear it!

It’s the most beautiful and engaging game I’ve played in a long time. and I’m not even into jump’n run/adventure stuff that much. It’s the story and interaction of the characters that caught me.
