Thanks so much for watching my friend!! I have other videos of City Hunter with Japanese Jazz like T-Square, Yuji Toriyama and more. Please watch and comment. I would LOVE to hear what you have to say!! แล้วพบกันใหม่
Hey thanks a ton for watching RhythmDroid. I grew up listening and watching Bubblegum Crisis too, so I'm definitely on the up and up about these tunes. I have more videos like this, so be sure to check 'em out man. Peace! ^__^
Hey MahdiY, thanks a lot for the wonderful comment. This vid is one of my faves and it was a joy to make it. I'm glad you liked how well it coupled to CH, and I have other videos like this that are coupled to CH. If you're still interested, be sure to subscribe, since I'm a big fan of City Hunter and I've done a lot, and will do more, like this in the future. Thanks again for watching man!! It means a lot! :)
Thank you very much my friend. I'm glad you love the video, and more importantly, I'm glad you commented :) I hope this did the series some justice. I have other City Hunter videos I've made, so be sure to subscribe and watch more. I'd love to hear what you have to say. Thanks again for watching!! ^___^
@naikanomtom subscribed! your channel looks packed with gems, thanks for sharing. I watched City Hunter almost every night during my childhood in Italy, it has to be one of my favorite anime (on top of the list with Hokuto no Ken, Lupin III and Tsurikichi Sampei). It had guns, drama, comedy, classy jazz, unforgettable characters and girls in underware. It had something special, and will always be a precious memory. thanks again :)
That is a great video. Worked so well with the theme of city hunter. Even thought he jokes around and his mokori moments, Ryo is a guy with a lot of emotions. Its weird that I forgot about that and it was great to see the same premise in Angel Heart. Again, great work and keep it up.
I would recomend Angel Heart. It's based on a different storyline, but it still keeps to most of what made city hunter. All the original voice actors from the series come back to reprise their roles. It does have a lighter tone on a few things though.
The music does give the CH world more depth. Never thought Ryo was this kind of tortured soul. I'm so glad Kaori's there to help out with her hammer. Good job!
Thanks Wind. That 's what I'm hoping T-Square's music adds to the video. Lots of AMVs like to put super contemporary music which really doesn't fit the mood or feel of the show, which was a big reason why I chose all this jazz fusion.
It's very cool that you got to meet Hojo-san in person. How did you get a chance to meet him?
Derrick, thanks for the comment. I dunno if it's a work of art because I'm technically using 'somebody else's art', but I am grateful. You ROCK MR. COLE!
You're totally right (once again), the singularity of Ryo also comes from all the sadness he 's got in his heart. That's what makes him so exceptionnel and so understanding about people's pain. And (once again lol), you perfectly matched the feeling with the video. I feel really inspired! ...
You should be engaged and paid for doing what you do brother, fo' real! ^^
Gave it 5 stars before I even started the video, hehe.
This definitely fit perfectly and really brings out the hidden loneliness that constantly surround Ryo and Umibozu's lifestyles. Loved it. I certainly hope you do more with City Hunter and more than likely T-Square!
Kane, I must say that I've never seen City Hunter but this is the best AMV you've done so far man. I'll give it 5 stars but you actually deserve more than that. Well done.
03:36-03:51 was insane. Music and scenery perfectly fit together there!
And your interpretation is pretty good, the music really supports your thoughts! You're pretty much the only guy who (I know) makes some AMV's with a deep interpretation.
I think that you heard it more than hundred times, but ... Keep it up man, you rock!
Great video man! I espcially liked at the 3:00 mark when the piano playing synched up with the action of the video. Very nice! I'm going to have to check out T-Square, they remind me of some of the awesome jazz from the Golgo 13 soundtracks.
Thanks Yoiko. The piano thing actually happened by chance as I was editing :) Please check out more of T-Square since their music is basically jazz fusion that you've heard in COUNTLESS film, anime and even video games.
No, I haven't played KOF12, I'm actually kinda disappointed about it :(
Sweet Video man! Very haunting melody love blending of City Hunter charaterization with the music. This plays a lot like Chuck Norris' Hitman (incredible soundtrack), amazing riffs. Keep up the talent man!

Ryo Saeba, my idol for life. This guy gets all da' women and all da' action! Nobody can make you laugh or root harder to win than him!
