  • yo what kyokushin karate ? thats sotokan karate learn you're art first and then write it properly

  • @celicakias It's Shotokan? Really? Damn!!! You'd think after i'd been training at it for 8 years they might have told me!!!! Here i was thinking my black belt was a Kyokushin black belt, and now you tell me i got it wrong and i am actually a SHotokan black belt. Guess i better tell my Sensei, he will be even more surprised than me.

  • So... While i like the breaking, I think she's wearing shin guards. It still hurt like crazy, judging from the slight limp and the way she walks it off, but at :23 as her kicking leg comes forward as she walks around the block you can see the outline on her shin, and also at :24 just before the "cut dissolve" you can see the thickness and bulge of the pad against the black from the side as she walks forward.

  • @onf22atnight Sigh. I am but a simple karate-ka. Not a director. Sempai Tara didn't wear shin pads, and for the record I didn't use a "fake bat", or pre cut it, or whatever, . Like the break, don't like it, i dont care, after five years of "you can see her limp" - "its a fake bat" - "TKD is better" - "She is wearing shin pads" is a new one, but i am convinced people have far too much time on their hands.

  • power level over 9000?

  • TaeKwonDo is better

  • the kick is stronger than it looks o.O either that's not a completely ash-wood made bat or her kick generates over 700 lbs of force!

  • she can beat ronaldo's freekick..

  • Breaking a bat with your shin requires approximately 780 lbs of force, or 900 lbs for a oak wood bat.. A professional soccer player can bomb the ball at 250 lbs of force.. that is just to give everyone a comparison for what is needed to snap a bat with a kick.. years of training buddy

  • yes anyone can do...I FUCKING DOUBT THAT YOU STUPID PEOPLE!

  • uh I saw it by muay thai fighter too not so impresive at all it is how the person is trained and kick boxers boxers who are in the ring they are soetimes underrated cause of not participating in temeshiwari but after a little training they could done this without any hard effort

  • I train in kyokushin, and sure. Maybe most people can break a break with a kick. But to do it and not get hurt, and then do it again without getting hurt, is the point. I still need more training in concentration to be at this level. I can break it, but I know I will get hurt, it's not all about strength. It's about how to control your strength and focus. OSU!

  • Maybe anyone's shin is capable of breaking a bat, but what about the damage to the bone and blood vessels? Perhaps not with one break but with frequent stunts like this, there will be damage to at least the veins and capillaries in the area as well as to the surface of the tibia ( shin bone ).

  • Nice correct technique

  • one of these days i wanna see someone break a cricket bat.

  • @Freestylar Ha ha! I tought about that too, but i reckon (only a guess here) it might be easier. The bat (baseball or cricket) is always going to break at the weakest point, and i reckon the vee where the cricket bat handle joins the bat might just break away - i'm not testing it :-)

  • Great stances and great power but this isint really a kick its more like using you leg as a club im just saying and if your going to tell me to bost a vid of me breaking a bat i would if i had a camra :P

  • It's not the power of whatever Karate... It's just the strength of your schinbone "Tibia"

Any grown up human beings can do it.

  • @TheFanofFPS I cant wait to see your bat breaking video champ

  • @budoshopcomau Idk if you are that woman. Please this is not an offense to anyone. I just want to state the fact that without any experience of kyokushing karate or any martial arts, you can easily break that little (toy's R us) kids' bat. This video is not completely a pointless video. I do see that you actually show the stance and the kick motion but like I said, all I am saying is no matter what or how you kick it, you can break that stick.

  • @TheFanofFPS No, i'm not that woman. No, i'm not offended. No, i don't care if you think the vid is pointless.

What i am is amused. I am amused that someone thinks just anyone can break a bat. So, again, i say to you - go do it. Get a bat from toys r us, set up your camera, and break the bat. I truly look forward to seeing that video.

  • @budoshopcomau agree with u man. i did muay thai before and the first thing they do in training is strengthen the shinbone. so i doubt any grown person could break a bat like that without strength training. and to TheFanofFPS its like saying it wouldnt hurt ya if i hit ur leg with a bat with all my strength. at the end u can even see the lady limping a little

  • @budoshopcomau There are 2 reason why I would NOT attempt to break that bat; I enjoy playin basketball too much but I am also quite fond of just simply walking without a limp. Think about it, youre tryin to break a strong, dense piece of wood with your shin. Not gona happen unless you put the training in (or, might I add, your name is 'Muhammad, Im'ard, Bruce Lee Lol)

  • @budoshopcomau I'd say anyone can LEARN to do that (unless they are handicapped or something). Without proper training it is very likely to injure yourself/break your bones. Just because everyone is capable of learning something that doesn't mean it's an easy thing to do. Just my opinion though.

  • @TheFanofFPS lol yea, any healthy human being can physically break that bat. Shinbone is tougher than wood... it's a known fact. But just the technique and the mental training to actually hit a bat as hard as you can is something that most people do not have. Not to mention conditioning. I bet that if you did this you'd have tears in your eyes ,walk with a limp, and have a huge bruise on your shin.

  • @TheFanofFPS No, you can't. You have no clue what you're talking about.

  • @TheFanofFPS

    Where's the video?

  • @budoshopcomau Yeah me too. Show us how "Easy" it is.

  • @TheFanofFPS i agree with you to a certain extent, but martial arts teach you the technique, so that it i controlled, and you don't hurt your self whilst doing it... honestly, how many times when you were a kid did you try and chop through a pencil and end up hurting the small bone in the side of your hand?

  • @TheFanofFPS you are so wrong little fag . i really would like you to take a bat and try breaking it ... you will have a very nice surprise try it i mean it

  • @alexutzuRTA94 It is interesting how some wet behind the ears 20 year olds call people fags for simply sending in an opinion. I don't understand the emotion behind such a reaction.

  • @TheFanofFPS listen man,, you don't know what your talking about... ^o) i do koyukushin kai karate (that is full contact fighting and training NO PROTECTION!) for 11 years now and it's all about the strength and the mental mind of breaking that bat or brick or ice block.. you wouldn't be able to do it with you "tibia" because it is not trained strong enough to stand the pain... yours will probably break.. ;) ^o)

  • @TheFanofFPS nah ... it takes some time to condition your shin and power up your kick to do this , it is not easy as you think , try to break it and i can guarantee you that your shin will be hurt badly...

  • @TheFanofFPS Actually it requires conditioning. You'd fracture your shin if you tried, depending on how hard the shin is.

  • @TheFanofFPS When you try, video tape it so we could get a good laugh when u shatter your shin-bone:)

  • @TheFanofFPS You have to deaden your nerves and harden your chins beforehand :).

  • That slow motion clapping sounds like minecraft slimes fapping. Heads up Notch :L

  • i could do that easy. I want to see you bust someones shin in....

  • Holy smokes Batman... it's a girl!

  • ahahahhaaha 0:27 XD

    nice vid

  • Osu! much respect

  • ok

  • Nice vid

  • why do people break the weakest part of a bat.... break the barrel and then its something to talk about

  • @izdagrimeyone Looking forward to seeing your bat break video.

  • @budoshopcomau Budo I bet you're religious =D!

  • @izdagrimeyone dude think about this....how many MAJOR LEAGUE hitters do you see NOT break the bat even on home run hits....and then tell me if you would even want some AV club kid hitting you with a bat let alone a Major league hitter.

  • @izdagrimeyone And if someone did THAT they could hit the guy holding the bat and they may even KILL him if they hit his head, because a Karate kick can drive your nose bon into your brain...

  • im not expert but to break a baseball bat at the barrel will take some unconventional conditioning. The striker may hit the stongest ponint but i beleive it wound be the weakest point that would break anyway. The kick would have to apply a resonents that would shater the spacifick material that it struck. Realy like to learn Kyokushin karate though.

  • @izdagrimeyone physics. but this demonstration was shit. there is much better demonstration of kyokushin breaking tecniques.

  • @izdagrimeyone you can break the barrel of the bat because no matter how you position the bat the weakest part will break.

  • this video means DON"T FUCK WITH KARATE GIRLS !

  • @fireballd12 ..unless you're karate boy ;)

  • I'm pretty sure she was limping back, even though she is strong, females bones aren't as naturally as strong as men

  • Just conditioned shins not just karate

  • is it a real baseball bat? cos if it is , she is one hell of a tough gall with an iron shin

  • what a god damn joke and disgrace to Kyokushin that these McDojos are now perpetuating garbage in this style.

  • I can do that and I have had no training in karate, only boxing..

She just hit the weak part of the bat, nothing more

  • this is only pine bat,it's make special for competitors karate, this very soft wood...lol

  • I am in Kyokushin too. But I cant break baseball bats!!

  • bravo!!!!!

  • je fais du karaté for 13 an et je sais que cela est vrai !!!! bravo

  • i have never even broken a sweat

  • I did this from 8-17 aka like 2 months ago, i only stopped because they dont let you throw head punches, if they allowed that, this martial art would far surpass all others,

the technnique and training methodology is brutal and effective when your class is full of 15-19 year old boys, with an amazing instructor 2nd dan

  • let me hit you with a low kick and you'll know when i break your leg :)

  • jejej eso es facil nenaa algo maas dificil yo soy cinturon negro en karate talvez ire pal panamericano..ajam

  • That wasn't even a technically great kick.

She kicks hard obviously, but she could have added a lot more hip explosion into it to make it even better, and more technically proper.

  • great kick .....................not

  • Nice but it's for starter if u want to have fun go lokk to karaté sportif

  • Cool lol

  • WHERE'S MY SANDWICH ?!?!?!

  • It is strong kick from her.

  • Look at her steps afterward, she hurt her shin. I know this look as a combatant......but still a very nice break!!

  • its funny cuz when she was walking you can see her limping

  • OMFG she broke a stick ! ... Muay thai Flying kneeeeeeeeeee .... baaaaam the kyokushin is down

  • She is hurt and you can see it by the way she walks. Lame way to hurt yourself.

  • watch her leg after the kick

  • Boards don't hit back...

  • @jmthurow94

I would put my money on someone that could do this as to someone who couldn't.

  • @jmthurow94 It was a demonstration you moron...

  • @jmthurow94 if you have ever done kyokushin, then obvs you didnt learn properly. the ONLY let down of kyokushin is that your not allowed to head punch in tournaments and sparing. But thats is for safety. which is gay.

  • @jmthurow94 But Chuck Norris do

  • @jmthurow94 But bats might, depending on the wielder.

  • @jmthurow94 very very true observation! Bats (I guess that's what you mean) wouldn't hit back. Neither would bricks or wooden parts in general... This is not Karate. This is demonstration of abilities and karate is not about demonstrating!

Furthermore, TRUE Karate is not about damaging your body, it's about protecting it. My sensei used to do such demonstrations when he was younger, now he regrets it and judges them as "meaningless".

    I respect the effort though

  • @jmthurow94 lol Bruce Lee Quote.So True

  • @jmthurow94 actually this is baseball bat

  • @jmthurow94 And bruce lee wasn't a real martial artist. Yeah I said it.

  • @jmthurow94 Exactly. They don't need to in order to break the hands of untrained keyboard warriors.

  • @jmthurow94 Guys with broken legs too. ;)

  • @jmthurow94 i was gunna say that -.-

  • @jmthurow94

    baseball bats do haha

  • @jmthurow94

Oh, well, but if that kick pierced your head, would you hit back?^^

Boards don't hit back when breaked, humans don't hit back when they get a powerfull kick in their head either:D

  • @jmthurow94 omg bruse lee is that u???

  • @ruebuscm HIs long lost daughter

  • @jmthurow94 "Bolo" xD

  • Don't kick with the foot! Got checked by the knee or the shin and you are finished.

  • @buakaw101hkfan foot has about 6-10 inches of extra reach, its all situational bro. They lean back and your foot hits there jaw they are 'finished', they lean back and your foot smashes into their liver, they are 'finished'

  • @buakaw101hkfan Oh my gosh! I didn't even realize that she kicked it with her foot until i read your comment and looked again. WOW! That was retarded. Great display, but not efficient.

  • I could do that. easy. after she kicked that she was facing the wrong way, I have to say that in my opinion I think my kicks are far more powerful then the kick that she displayed. I have to say though that this may have hurt my un-condtioned shins.

  • @HODthunderwolf - she just followed all the way through so she is not really facing the wrong way. She just didn't stop herself after the break. Now if she didn't destroy the target, then I agree, she is facing the wrong way but she could have followed with an ushiro geri of some sort after the break by following through like she did. As for her limping, she is a little but it isn't Kyokushin if you are not limping or walking with the Kyokushin strut (walk) Osu!

  • lucky me, it was not my arm

  • Listen to the sounds of the slowmo replay... lol for some reason it brings smile to my face.

  • Holy sh*t

  • I'd still back the assailant with the bat.

  • ash karate esta todo

  • ash karate esta todo feo ademas nisikiera son tecnicos como en el taekwondo bu pura basura es el katte

  • Lool only with a mawashi geri xD !!! Nice !!! But it wasn't a real real one, it was too smooth...

  • Nice break, osu!

  • they can be strong as guys if they work on it. Its just most guys bodies and muscles are fine tuned for things like this. Along with adrenaline and blah blah

  • lame

  • 1 groin kick from her and your family plans will be all gone.

  • How useful is that in actual combat? People who like to fight in bars and on the streets ALWAYS pick opponents who they think they can beat and seem much weaker. Those boys work out in gyms and practice martial arts themselves. And a robber is never alone he has a pal or pals with him and he always carries a knife or gun. So buy a GUN or RUN! LOL

  • anybody can break a fucken twig like that, she should use 2x4's and then ill be impressed, what a waste

  • muay thai %100 better i dont like kyokushin atte: a muay thai semi-pro fighter.

PD: i can do that too but i dont need to scream xD and yes she's cute

  • damn that could have been someone's leg and she would have snapped it. that is one powerful kick.

  • way to go "through" the object! i still have to do breaks lol

  • i woud not be her husband!!!!!

  • Wow!! She's hot.

  • And there are people that say that women are the weaker sex..

  • Physically yes, but they are smarter IMO

  • Ever saw a women drive?

    Totaly smart.

  • so since you think women are physically weaker, im guessing you can do tht?....

im a guy, and i think tht some girls can be stronger than guys

  • @PardonMySanity

Nope. Inferior all they way. Too bad girls are no longer girls.

And that one is definatly not weak physically lol.

  • @PardonMySanity

Is this about women? Women have a lower IQ average than men.

  • I can't agree that they are smarter, or less smart for that matter. But in martial arts, skill overcomes strength, and intelligence.

  • No and yes. Females are more intelligent when it comes to linguistics and socialisation, as they evolved this way, whereas males are more intelligent with logic, problem solving and math.

  • this single woman proves everything.

  • @PavvePrime

    They are.

  • O S S

  • she has good technique, that is why she broke the bat. She kicked through the bat.

  • these bats are made for demonsration purposes, try breaking a real baseball bat, the thicker part of it that is, not the handle!!!

  • I never tried but I try to see if I can !

  • she is hot!

  • daaaaaaam! am in love

  • awsome

  • I can not break a bat with my leg, but I can break a leg or a face with a bat.

  • Her hands dropped on that kick. She should work on that.

  • yeah.but it lets u kick easier but yeah i agree she shud work on it she is wide open

  • Thumbs up

Good OSU spirit on the kick - bad habits with the hands

Dropped or lowered hands = KO from a faster karateka

Those who gave Pit a thumbs down need to review the Kyokushin world tournaments and see how many karatekas get KO'd because they lowered\dropped their hands.

  • and how many ribs get shatterd because they didnt have their hands lowered

  • Is there a meaning to "osu" or is it just like an expression?

  • @joeyp978 Osu is used in many ways. it comes from Osu no Seichen - the spirit of osu - the spirit of perseverence. Osu is a martial arts term that is used as an acknowledgement of a command (i will try to do what you want to the best of my ability) - a sign of respect to the dojo or the person - many many "ways" of using osu

  • do you see a goddamn faster karateka anywhere? this is just an exhibition and she may use her hands to get a better momentum -.-

    geez

  • @pitbull103

Naw dude. This isnt Muay Thai. Its Karate, they love getting knocked out thats why they keep their hands down. haha They dont compare to a Muay Thai Fighter! Its too Intense for them.

  • that sounds :DxD

  • Once I've broke seven toothsticks...

  • @theBlackCerimoner AHAHAHA!!

  • @theBlackCerimoner Ahahahaha!!!!

  • nvrseen a girl do that

i reckon its a fake bat

her round house was abit slow

    to break a real bat

sorry if im wrong jus sayin what it looks like

  • Nah, one of my shihans is a woman and she can break two bats at once with ease. It all comes down to technique, really. You don't need iron shins or super fast kicks to break a bat. :D

  • But iron shins do help :3

  • @Yoruichi13

haha i say you try it and see if you dont fucking fracture your bones or even maybe break your shin! Its not just technique its also hard bones after years of training. Whoever gave you 4 thumbs are idiots!!

  • Sexy. In a non sexual way. In the same way that a kata is sexy, or a halftwist-xout-halftwist kick...

  • OW godamnit lol

  • She's hot too =)

  • poor bat :(

  • poor boyfriend if she messes up with her lol. still its not that hard guys since once ur on martial arts ur feet, hands, reflexes and control and specially resisting damages increases alot of course not in a day or 2 but in a year u start to see those changes.

  • funny thing is that her boyfriend is a 3rd dan black belt on the akka world full contact team. fuck breaking up their domestics!

  • She sounds like the hulk second time around. hahaha!

  • that was a normal roundhouse. you don't actually hit with the shin, you ideally hit at the crook between your shin and the top of your foot. It doesn't take all that much conditioning to not notice it either, it's the power of breaking a bat that this shows

  • And that is precisely what a Mawashi Geri is.

The diference is, it actualy has a methodic name description in the martial art, unlike the term "roundhouse kick" wich means nothing at all except for showing the bad habits of some Englsh speaking Senseis when adapting simplified localized terms.

Im not a fan of this sort of ego boosting exhibitions tough.

Feels more like a circus than a solid learning experience.

    Cheers.

  • well...shin strikes tend to be much more efficient. Not only is there less risk on breaking your foot, but shins ( with time ) get harder. There's a documentary on martial arts on youtube...made by national geographic if I remember well..and they talk about kicks. According to numbers, shin strikes are much more efficient/powerful. Cheers

  • you hit with the shin when in close range fight

  • it would suck if she hit the blocks.

  • KIYAI

  • I think my shin would hurt a lot after that :(

  • mabey brake lol

  • its not difficult guyz, itz physics. u train for a while with ur SHINBone, and kick the thin part of the bat.

    it breakz!

  • true cause i see alot of baseball players break the bats with ease

  • why not, maybe she practise's every day just in case she has to really disable a man if attacked. it's called technic , training by experts practise dedication will power self estem and basically i have to. All the good things about Martial Arts dedication Seen a dude break 3 with his shin, ouch so why cant a girl do this.?
  • no way a skinny girl like her can break

  • lf i ever meet this lady i would be very nice to her. Imagine if it was your knee, shin or even worse grion. YYEEEEOOOUUUUUCCCCCHHHHH.
