To getrealandsee fuck off. Kwan was not blessed with the DNA of Sasha Cohen's flexibility, but she was one of the best technician unlike Cohen's wobbly shallow edges. Figure skating starts with technique, which Michelle is a master of.

And OMG the inflated scores...the gushing...ooooh...she fell so very gracefully.....ooooh....look how she soldiers on (what, other skaters run off the ice in tears)? Perhaps a skater who actually stayed upright might have been a good choice.

This barely minumim requirement..no difficulty..and then the long where she spent so much time splattered all over the ice..and yet off she goes with the grin and wiggle to worlds. GOOD GOD no wonder she is so rich and has so many titles..if this is all it takes. Phony, safe, and medicore. Thank God she will never wear Olympic Gold! Her arrogance to this day is astounding. Simple programs, safe programs and still she muffs even that. A media creation is this coward!

See my response to koolaidnhemlock:) I am a very happy person and this program is ridiculous..even the commentators are saying..well..not hard..not complicated but still...no wonder Kwan hung around so long..she barely used her body. Other athletes gave so much they wore out..and have Olympic Gold to show for it! Tentative..yeppers...cowardly and timid.

Ms. Fleming's comment about the combination spin is the only time I can remember her complimenting Michelle Kwan about her speed. She often said her spins were slow.

ha- her extensions aren't as flexible and graceful as Sasha Cohen's. But they have different strengths, and weaknesses(if we can even see them)

Nice clean program. Could have done a triple flip instead of the easy toe and the double axel was shaky, but good. Nice ending!

She barely saved that double Axel in this performance to that program, but it was fantastic nonetheless.
