@sh9683 It's because a lot of it is trying too hard being a gangster or thug (not all but some are) and it seems that they forgot what Rap is about, It started at bloc parties back in the 60's in the Caribbean neighborhoods and it was used at times to bring up problems in community as a way to express it but it was also used to celebrate. Which is what Christian Rap does (also side note as KRS-One said if your rich you can't do pure raw Rap without living the life)

even when you dont factor in the truth and poetry in his lyrics, he is still better then all the mainstream rappers when you look at it from simply a musical standpoint.

i've even talked to non-christians and they even think he is a better rapper period then lil wayne and jay-z and all them, and they dont even agree with the lyrics!!!

its not about competing, or skills. i wasnt in the right mind set when i made that. it doesnt matter if he is better that lil wayne or not, thats for God to judge. Its not about the skills, but how you use them. its about the message lecrae pushes, and the truth in his words.
