Frank Felix, the bass guitarist of the group once said that this track "The beautiful game" is one of the most requested for tracks during concerts and its not difficult to understand why. First heard the track when they opened for Boney James and Rick Braun in London (circa 2002) and I simply was hooked on it. This version is a very creative version of the original and sounds wonderful every time I hear it.

You need to watch them live. Talking about inter activity or interplay this song is very cleverly delivered there is a seamless switching over between the acoustic and electric lead guitar. You probably didn't notice. That's how beautiful it is.

I've been a huge fan of AA since I was DJ'ing a wedding a few years ago and had on some soft jazz for the dinner hour. One of the guests asked if I would mind playing a song from one of their cds. The gave me the "Back on the Case" cd. Once I heard "The Alchemist" I was an instant fan. Absolutely BRILLIANT guitarists and an incredibly TIGHT band. Another great video they have here is "Catalina Kiss" which they use as the opening tune on the Live in St. Lucia DVD.
