There's supposed to be another superDARN station at Kapuskasing, Ontario. That seems to influence a lot of the weather around the east coast of the USA. If you check out the jet stream at the CRWS site and build a time loop of the northern hemisphere the influence becomes more apparent.
I don;t think they require a lot of power to run-- I think it requires very little power to run but it does require them to focus it in a very narrow beam which is why they use the dipold array- the ionisphere is what magnifies the power millions of times . I think that is why they like to spray ionizing particles to extend the reach of the ionisphere by expanding it to lower levels. That is just my educaated guess.
@ubuibme24 I found out the contrary my friend, they require HUGE amounts of power to run. That is exactly why they are FRACKING the crap out of the planet. They use natural gas to power the facilities. Thats why you cant see it from the outside. LOTS of power my man...
@series1riv Well, thant WOULD esplain why the Alaska facility it over the huge gas deposits in Alaska...hmmm...Do they all sit over huge gas deposits, I wonder? It must be just the computers that they run on the deisel generators... Your statement makes a lot of sense and makes me think.... Thank You!
