@shukenja I have about 12 different mp3 players. They consist of 3 sony walkmans, 2 iriver ones, a samsung one, 2 DSE ones, 2 ipod nanos, and ipod classic and an ipod touch. I used them all for a decent period of time and found that apple's products were much more fluid and ran smoother, were easier to navigate through and had the best audio playback.

Alot of the time they overprice things and alot of the stuff on there is 126 kbps. Aside form that I think there are a few apps that allow playback of other formats and without the use of itunes, but you'd have to jailbreak it (if it is an itouch) to ssh the stuff onto it.
well in terms of controlling your iPhone go on skullcandy com they have a whole bunch of 'em that do, and for over the ear... well thats been done by just about everyone before... not a new idea

I recently purchased a new pair Beats by Dr. Dre Solo. Once I plug it into my Nokia Xpress Music, the sound is missing the bass, the low sounds, and sounds very one dimensional. However, when i press down on the center button of the "control talk" on the cable of the headphones, the sound is back to normal. But pressing it down the whole time can be a hassle.
I side by side tested the Bose QC 15 and the Beats from Monster, and I hate to say this, and I'm going to get flamed for it, but the Bose QC 15 sounded a lot better and blocked out much more sound imho. Now, these were the Demo songs in a store, so I question the source sound and how it's tuned, but as for noise blocking, the QC 15's would be my choice for the same price, $299 at this store.
@link48010 You're absolutely right about the Bose QC15's. Their noise canceling is the best in the industry and their sound is much better than the Dre Beats. The Dre Beats have too much bass and not good mids or highs. The Bose can be used from classical to Jazz to R&B. The Beats are made only for Hip Hop. The Beats are $90 headphones in a $300 package.

Iwould really consider this product but I hate having to repay for a product I buy. What I mean by "repay" is that I need to buy batteries for them. Depends on how much you use them. If you just leave them in and never (I mean never EVER) use them, they'll last forever. If you use them constantly 24 hrs a day then maybe 10 Hours.

The studio pro are like $400 in australia and you can get entry-level audiophile headphones for cheaper out there than this, i'd rather Grado.

I recently purchased a new pair Beats by Dr. Dre Solo. Once I plug it into my Nokia Xpress Music, the sound is missing the bass, the low sounds, and sounds very one dimensional. However, when i press down on the center button of the "control talk" on the cable of the headphones, the sound is back to normal. But pressing it down the whole time can be a hassle.
How do i fix this? Thanks

I side by side tested the Bose QC 15 and the Beats from Monster, and I hate to say this, and I'm going to get flamed for it, but the Bose QC 15 sounded a lot better and blocked out much more sound imho. Now, these were the Demo songs in a store, so I question the source sound and how it's tuned, but as for noise blocking, the QC 15's would be my choice for the same price, $299 at this store.

@link48010 You're absolutely right about the Bose QC15's. Their noise canceling is the best in the industry and their sound is much better than the Dre Beats. The Dre Beats have too much bass and not good mids or highs. The Bose can be used from classical to Jazz to R&B. The Beats are made only for Hip Hop. The Beats are $90 headphones in a $300 package.

If, in your opinion that Macs are the best out there then that doesn't qualify them to be overpriced right? Why should they be cheaper if they are the best out there??? Iwould really consider this product but I hate having to repay for a product I buy. What I mean by "repay" is that I need to buy batteries for them. I know there's gonna be a couple of peopl saying/thinking "It's a couple batteries what's wrong with you?" I'm just not a fan of having to do so, I'm weird.. I'll go with Bose.

Depends on how much you use them. If you just leave them in and never (I mean never EVER) use them, they'll last forever. If you use them constantly 24 hrs a day then maybe 10 Hours.
