A lot of things...They didn't give Venom enough screen time to portray him accurately, sandman did NOT kill Uncle Ben in the comics, Topher Grace was a JOKE as Eddie Brock (Eddie Brock was three times the size of Topher in the comics)...the whole emo bit with Venom was just lame...ugh, one of the worst superhero movies in my opinion. Ranks up there with Batman & Robin. Little to NO respect for the source material.

Well, just because a movie doesn't match its original source doesn't make it a bad film.

Look at Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. That movie didn't match its original story, but that's really not the reason why it sucks.

I judge a movie by how good the story, characters, and acting is. Not necessarily if it matches the books. I thought the story was alright and I enjoyed the movie the whole way through. It did piss me off that Venom was only in it for 5 minutes total

But that's my opinion
