If you want good metal listen to Mercyful Fate and King Diamond. The albums Melissa, Don't Break the Oath, Abigail and Them are some the greatest heavy metal albums of all time.

Plus they influenced Metallica so I think that you guys would like them. Way better Guitar Solos than Kirk Hammet, Andy La Rocque is a Genius.
