@agenttug Yeah!! Just use a basic vacuum to blow or suck the dust out. Be careful not to break anything. Also you can use a dry cloth or damp (NOT VERY WET) cloth and wipe the dust outta there.

this is good if it simply is a dust problem, however if you have not gotten the 2 rings yet on your xbox you surely will with this fix video. I have found if your xbox continuously freezes without the two rings of death showing it is because of overheating. I Did many self yelp videos of dusting off/unboxing for maximum airflow and not worked.
dude disconnect everything from the motherboard, unscrew the motherboard from the metal shell, take the heat sinks off clean the bottom of them, then take all the excess thermal paste off then take a little bit of rubbing alcohol and clean the gpu and the cpu till they have a mirror finish, add new thermal paste on the chips not a lot just enough to cover them completely. reassemble and bam! problem solved for about 5 bucks :)

i just suck up all the dust with a high powered vaccum cleaner it worked. before i did that my xbox was really loud now it as qiuet as new. i recomend this if you dont a any air duster.
My xbox looks like this inside with the new improved heatsink with the copper over the GPU but i have the newer custom heatsink that is gray over the CPU my xbox overheats in 1 second and its not hot lol
easy fix remove heat sinks and old thermo paste get a hair dryer on hot setting and heat the chips up so there hot to touch apply new thermo paste repalce heat sinks put console back together .make sure its cold then do towel trick ..it will sort it
