@imconfusedenough This show was indeed in syndication - and for quite a lengthy time. USA Network purchased the rights and aired the repeats every day for six years straight (1990-1996).

I just rediscovered this show and man am I having a blast! I'm also a Brady Bunch and Partridge Family fan, but I think Just the Ten of Us was much better-written and better-acted than its two TGIF predecessors.

I don't remember the episode you are referring to, but yes, I think this was a spin off from Growing Pains. Too bad it's still not on DVD. I bits and pieces of episodes on VHS. I think this was one of the ones I have.

@tlofee Yeah, he answers the phone in the middle of the night and slips on a skateboard as he comes down to answer it. It had to do with Wendy dating a guy who was a robber.
