  • looks like burst breathing. I do that with my push-up and squats. Good idea I will try with my Tai Chi

  • ..... (still a lot more fundamentals, please find out yourself)

About the fighting part, the use of Tai chi is about using your body to deflect enemy's force, or to strike/push at right time/place so that the enemy would receive the most amount of effect when we receive the least!

But you will need your physical strength and inner power. In order to do that, we practice these kinds of form, slowly but correctly, to develop chi and your physical strength!

That's what i think! Correct me if wrong

  • The movement is slow because it's too difficult and complicated!

To be effective, you have to do movements CORRECTLY. You could not do tai chi, with full and correct "fundamentals", fast!

Who don't know these and keep these in mind is not a tai chi "practitioner"

_ "Chi" focus into dan tian

_ Back straight, chest retract a little bit

_ Head is as if something is hanging it to the ceiling

_ Shoulder down, your "zhou" (the middle part of your arm) also down

    _ Waist relax...

    (too many character)

  • Aikamoinen liikkeen hallinta liikenteen melu? muu kohina luo maagisen tunnelman

  • "health only"? Because as we all wait to defend ourselve in barfight or in some back alley arthritis and diabetes kills us off. Our true enemy is living an unbalanced lifestyle, so Tai chi is the most effective self defense......in my humble opinion.

  • This version of yang tai chi is for health only, as the moves are too slow, and not enough moves to be combat yang style tai chi. Check out master michael wong tai chi on this you tube.

  • i'm not watchin any self crowned "master"'s videos lol

  • just because she does the moves slow does not mean they cannot be done quickly, and it does not mean it takes away any application. do u even practice tai chi? its just like kung fu u can practice it fast slow with fa jing without. the 108 is not limited to ur interpretation of this one preformance........open your mind and listen to your body

  • it is slow when you do it as an exercise ... but once the form of the movement grows on to you, you'll natural move your body when a defensive situation occurs

  • ignore me, some how i managed to miss the 2nd move. seems right to me, similar to what I learnt

  • he did open on the right... or you talking about our right and not stage right?
