  • thanksgiving,1987, it was a thursday! im a savant!

  • As the father of two sons with autism, one non-verbal, I just wanted to say thanks. Your video was so inspirational. While most with autism are not savants, everyone… regardless of their abilities has something to share in this world. Sometimes it’s as simple as the change for the better that they make in their caregiver or the people who take the time to know them.

  • I'm so happy to be an autistic savant.

  • October 31 was on a monday it was holloween

  • someone throw a ball at my head please

  • it's crazy that the cousin of the guy from borat is the leading expert in autism

  • I knew a lot of students at university who could read one chapter in a textbook of a Medical topic once or twice & could remember it all. They would always get top marks in exams. But, I found their ability to understand & describe emotions were quite superficial. I guess they have so much empty space in their brain to just absorb plain information, but they don't have the connections to consolidate emotions with great clarity. Give them something very emotion-based & they would have a problem.

  • A kid in my school is just like this, he's a genius. His autism seems more severe than this guy, but he's like an encyclopedia. Still remember 7th grade we had this Geo-B, I got 3rd in it in the school, and I ended up losing to him and some other kid but he got 1st. He didn't get 1 question wrong.

  • the speaker must have been autistic with he's S's!!!

  • lol baby You not gonna be bored with me

  • lool I am always in the mood for some fun and I never say NO

  • His wife should dress up in... numbers, for him to get interest.

  • 240p.... We meet again ¬_¬

  • hm I`m good looking babe, with great sense of humor

  • 8:52 I believe that he is telling us how he's seeing the world around him: through his artwork.

    Art is his voice.

  • @REMIXme101 strike three

  • youjizz

  • 0.58 Funny how they call it a 'fatal'blow. So what, it killed him did it?

  • @DireDowns I think he says fateful, I could be wrong though.

  • is that ali g's brother? (simon baron-cohen?)

  • @marcelensanne haha that is his cousin :)

  • That guy's "S's" sound like zippers

  • In another interview Daniel said he has trouble walking on a beach because of his compulsion to count the grains of sand. In the beginning of this he's walking on a beach looking calm. Orlando could well have actively memorized the weather and day of the week for each date. Think about it. If you committed the weather and date to memory every day, and spent 10 minutes a day reviewing it, you would surely remember as well. Maybe Orlando does it without conscious effort, but it's not a miracle.

  • ive been beamed in the head by a 85 mph fastball and i suck at math :[

  • A lot of these cases are overblown. One thing many of these types of savants share is obsession. Constantly, compulsively "studying". They have a huge focus on at least one thing. This part tends to be ignored when I see these videos. It seems to be always framed as if they have some super power.

Even for remembering the weather, who checks the weather forecast *every* day for years. Im not saying everyone could do the same, but most people have fairly poor focus.

  • how can this be used in jobs?

  • @mammaspannekaker How can you criticize the handicapped?

  • The way that kids cries is exactly how my little autistic cousin sounds like when he cries. It's terrifying.

  • I love the reason for not labelling him as austic which is because he fits in with the social normal now that's retarded this is why nobody is different cus u'll be seen as retarded n stupid if u r..... psychology is bullshit I've copped shit all my life because of it thanks to the so-called "helpful politically correct professionals"

  • @multisnootylives1 just like u??

  • @multisnootylives1 i hope you die

  • @multisnootylives1 I'm autistic, I'm grown up, but I'm not a worthless retard! Neither is any other autistic person!

  • @JohnLennonForTheWin I bet there's a difference between autism (like u?) and social anxiety (like many people), but I can't help wondering.. Why do I always think of autism and autist people, why are those skills rare if we should be able to have them.. and why is it so hard for some of them to develop social skills ? Is it because they became autists in their childhood ? I think too much, that's maybe why I can't be an autist :P

  • @JohnLennonForTheWin (true ! One last question.. why, if music is the best thing worldwide, and if it is soo easy to find and remember.. why is it so rare to find a musician genius ? There should be more, I can't understand..)

  • @JohnLennonForTheWin Btw, I think that autism and retardness are too worlds appart. Also, I would like to tell you that I think it's impossible to forget sthg, it's just somehow bluerred, but I can ensure you you can remember things you forgot. I do, but I don't know how ^^"

    Thanks for reading !

  • @greenlife7 Oh my God, I can't believe I used to type like this....

  • Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen, cousin to Sacha Baron-Cohen - just researched him on Wikipedia, his relatives are geniuses!

  • Without the burst of blood from the placenta, the infant suffers a drop in blood pressure as its lungs fail to open as they should, creating a chain reaction of effects that can include brain damage and lung damage. Immediate cord clamping can cause hypotension, hypovolemia and infant anemia, resulting in cognitive deficits. Some have even theorized that the rise in autism could be linked at least in part to early cord clamping.

  • @mylovesofmylife wow ! are u a neonatalogist or something ?

  • Newborn lungs exist in a “compacted state” suitable for the womb. When the infant is born, the placenta & cord pulse for up to 20 minutes, delivering a burst of blood volume to the infant’s system. This blood burst is just what is needed for the lungs of the newborn to expand.Unfortunately, many hospitals & doctors don’t understand the mechanics of this and are engaging in early umbilical cord clamping — often within one minute of birth.

  • Simon Baron-Cohen? Got to be related to Ali G!

  • @Nautilus1972 It's his cousin

  • if u dont know what part of brain does calculation ,then your just dumb

  • @suryaji2 O RLY

  • My Sons Dad is gifted, Excellent at Maths, Good at lots of things. I think our Son has Autism behaviours. Taught me stuff. At 5 He can plug in a keyboard & mouse into a computer. He can write, teach himself by book gets taught to write. Says silly things like hello roof & laughs at sily things he says. Robot & shuffle walks to laugh at. Spins & has excess energy, makes a few silly noises, follows instructions, sweet & nurturing to his little sister & toys. Likes babies, computers & video games

  • @mylovesofmylife Any chance you can get him interested in rap music? The game needs a revival and I've always thought a savant with specialized skills could craft the most incredible verses and rhyme schemes. If not rap at least poetry.

  • @OsmosisDives do you mean get my Son or Man interested in rapd music/video games. My Son is obsessed with video games, he will break down in tears, if he can't play x-box alot. Now hes on the kids computer with his big sister. Hes also quite good at drawing for his age, consdering I never taught him to draw, I used to draw, but gave it up, for photography-taking photos of my kids, and making graphics out of my pictures of my kids. Hes a very interesting personality! YD picks up things well.

  • @SuperNumber777 you don't need to change. im sure you are perfect the way you are. :)

  • hahahahah @InGallifrey that is hilarious!

  • I hate my childhood. After I was beat up, when I was living downtown in this place called Newport News, Virgina, I passed out and woke up on my living room couch and these cartoons called Secret Squirrel and 2 Stupid dogs and I could draw them as if I made it. I still can draw. For some reason, I have a hard time with numbers too. I have a very hard time Adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying. I can't even talk to people unless it's via the damn internet. I feel like I'll never change.

  • Comment removed

  • @InGallifrey do not, as you know it's impossible and make a sharp diamond out of soft pudding .. hehe just trolling

  • @Entity005 =p

  • @InGallifrey Let me know if you need the motivation...bat in hand.

  • @InGallifrey not funny at all . You should count your blessings you arent autistic

  • @baxtermindymollymagg I am so sorry! I can't believe I wrote this... I'm currently volunteering with autistic children, and understand now. I will remove this right now!

  • this dude is like a fucking superhero

  • proffesor sacha baron cohen...O_O.....oh fuck..XD

  • @thecitizenme

The world-renowned autism researcher Dr. Simon Baron Cohen is actually Sacha Baron Cohen's cousin.

  • @caramba421 good.,,:D thanks for the info...

  • One goal in my life is to meet, talk and listen to a savant.

They are living proof that man is much more then we know.

  • @MMAProfessor Apparently I'm a savant of some nature...

  • @DamnationGod What's your talent?

  • @MMAProfessor Apparently I might be some type of musical genius. I was talking with an acquaintance who has a genius IQ and after observing my behavior for a few years, he believes this to be true. It's also that much more honest because I know the guy never liked me very much at all. I don't yet know if I'm just a normal person who has held himself back because of being stuck in a place surrounded by painfully uninteresting people, or if I'm a bit autistic because I do have strange approach.

  • @DamnationGod Do you have a video of yourself playing? Would love to hear it.

  • @MMAProfessor I actually have some albums and rather obscure projects in production. I make music regularly and try to cover as many genres as possible, those these primarily being of a heavier origin at the time. My overall skill seems to be that I can put a great deal of emotion into what I make and essentially make a more honest product. There is much to be shown in not very much time now, and performance videos are also part of the big picture.

  • its oile

  • @srongyboi239 whats oil?

  • @JTickett i dont know i think it was somthing to do with family guy and olie willams

  • I was curious about this actually.... I have an outstanding ability to tell time based on the position of the sun and amount of light. I was half awake in bed and I glanced out my window and thought, "Based on the position of the sun and the amount of light, I'm guessing it is 8 am." I reach for my watch and it was exactly 8 am.

  • @VulcanXL lol. amazing.

  • @Darkenedbyshadows

Yeah, but hardly useful... Wish I could do what these guys could do

  • 02:50 fwiet

    ffjieuuww

    ffieeuuww

    omg my ears

  • HAVE YOU SEEN MY BASEBALL

  • How weird is this, I search "incredible" hoping to find the song "incredible" by Sacha Baron Cohen, and instead this video comes up, and in it is Simon Baron Cohen, Sacha's cousin.

  • @iwillbombyou That's incredible.. lol

  • You people with you truly immature and thoughtless comments make me sick! I am a mother with 4, yes FOUR sons with Autism. You don't know the hell they live in on a daily basis. To make such idiotic comments truly sickens me and all other parents/people living with this disorder. I suggest you spend more time with Autistic people to know what it's like, then judge.

  • boy some of these comments are freaking immature.

  • what if there were a savant with amazing social skills?

  • There's a really really REALLY REALLY (I could go on forever) person in my class that is very very very very very good with geography and history.

  • Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen... hmmm Borat's long lost brother?

  • Im an autistic savant of pounding vag

  • Perhaps the world should concentrate on "inner space".

  • My friend got hit with a baseball bat.... Yeah, he is no savant, just an idiot.

  • @SaluteTheRocker he was hit in the wrong spot

  • *hit with ball

*now remembers days and the weather*

    "he would just cry...constantly"

    *smile*

    see the connection?

  • check it the dude at 2:56 is ali g's cousin . . . no shit

  • @Ralphioli I thought it was his brother but yeah he is definitely a relation, covered one of his studies in my psychology studies

  • I got hit on the head alot and ... what was i gonna say?

  • oh yeah i can do this to......

February 26 2014 we all die of the black plague!!!!!O.o??

  • I don't know what I have, this is why I am awake AGAIN at 4am with the radio on, 2 televisions on and the internet and its still not enough. there is still a gap in my mind that needs filling up with something or else it goes too fast

  • I have epilepsy too. had it since I was 3, I'm 18 know, and going of my meds. I feel so much better know to be free of all sezares. 99% of it well. my epilepsy, being alone most of my childhood time, and having friend only yournger than me, has given me the love of art. and children.

  • Prof. Simon Baron Cohen. Borat's brother...

  • What part of my brain is doing is, i don't know."

    Such wisdom.

  • whats the weather like ali? 'ITS GON RAIN!'

  • That Dr guy had an intense whistle

  • Wow....I think Dr. Baron-Cohen is the brother of "Borat" actor Sacha Baron Cohen.

  • @wilb6657 Yeah, he is actually Sacha's cousin :)

  • (I tried sending a note but it won't let me unless I add as friend, so....)

YouTube has provides a solution to correct the problem of "squished video"

Simply Edit Video and then insert this code into the Tag section....

    yt:stretch=16:9

....this will automatically "stretch" that video to the proper 16:9 resolution. Do this for each video that appears "squished" and it will then play in the corrected format.

And for videos that have too much black around the edges, use this code....

    yt:crop=16:9

  • yes we understand the smart little fuck used to cry a lot, you don't have to show us a 3 minute clip of him crying, no one wants to hear that.

  • guess we know how the pyramids were built, they all had retard....err "savant" strength..

  • c'est incroyable...

  • wud be cool if i could do this wit college work

  • 8:00-8:14 What the FUCK?

  • @aliberrii YEAH DUDE! WTF?!?

  • super genius is abnormality....

  • im not actually joking Prof. simon baron-cohen is the actor of borats brother. we did a study in psychology that mentioned him. look it up!

  • i fell off head first from a high fence when i was 8 or 9_ since then i became better in math_ won more art competitions_ and retard enough to quit engineering at least four times_

  • There are numbers nature, in fact in everything in which we percieve.

    Look up `The mandelbrot set`.

We are in a 3 dimensional program of numbers which creates matter.

    Enter the matrx.

  • .....And if Simon Baron-Cohen says his 'S'es with any more high pitched-ness or irritating whistling sounds, then I will slap the git.

  • @hipstarchild its the videos audio lol but yea it is annoying

  • it was HOT.

    Wow, so accurate.

  • The superman is real and he's American! But he can only name the day of the week and the weather of those days since his accident...

  • so asians arent the only ones who are geniuses

  • that professor sounds like a bath duck....

  • @thefoxdude rubber ducky

  • @thefoxdude Hahahahhaaha!!!!

  • okay i have a problem with this whole scene:

"did he like the sort of repetitive movement?" "yes that soothed him" "the repetitions kind of soothed him, sort of like autism" that convo was ridiculous. swaying is normal for calming babies and does NOT indicate autism.

  • Comment removed

  • "the repetitive movements soothed him as a baby " i lol'ed.

  • For information on the bases of many nonverbal learning disorders (common in Asperger's), in addition to audiological disorders such as Autism (toward end of talk) search "Dr. Laurie Cestnick" and "harvard university" on youtube for a video. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

  • superhero...

  • LOL this video is irrefutable evidence for God.

  • Orlando: "February 19 2011, ITS GON RAIN"

  • Borat's Dad!!! Very Nice

  • July fif, 1985 it was hott!!! LMAO!!!

  • @magnum5az i was born july 6th 1985, my mom told me it was like the hottest week of the summer

  • @magnum5az No! It was freezing cold wasnt it?

  • @magnum5az idiot

  • @magnum5az duh

  • @magnum5az I ain't autistic but I knew that too. It was just a day after 4th july not hard at all

  • @magnum5az

Hot weather in July? No fucking way!!

He must be some kind of genius. >_<

  • @Skeletonwitharaygun He said the day of the week, genius. There's a 1 in 7 chance of guessing that, and he gets it right every time.

  • @iwillbombyou

    LMAO!

    July is summer time.

There's only really 2 types of weather in the summer.

    Rainy and sunny.

So the chances of guessing that is more like 1 in 2 ha ha.

I predict that the weather in New York on july 12th of this year will be sunny.

OMG I can see the future!

    ...Genius

  • @Skeletonwitharaygun Did you even read what i just wrote? magnum didn't even type anything that the guy said in the vid, what the guy actually said was "june 3rd, 1985 it was a monday it was hot" The key word there being that he got the correct day of the week - monday. Can you actually not see what is special about that?

  • Comment removed

  • @iwillbombyou

When you say "The key word there being"

You're supposed to point out ONE word.

    Also...

Did I ever say anything about his date calculating skills? No

I was just calling bullshit on the weather thing.

  • @Skeletonwitharaygun i did point out one word. Whatever.

  • @Skeletonwitharaygun

it was sunny in New York high 93 degrees Fahrenheit (34 degrees Celcius) nice!!!

  • @magnum5az hot in july? I CANNOT EXPLAIN THIS

  • My sister is autistic, and has a form of this, where she can recall what she did on certain dates of certain years, including ones where she was only five or six. Insane.

  • lol the neuroscientist is borat's cousin

  • It would be cool if people worked out what part of the brain got damaged and then could preform operations to people to make them smarter :)

  • I had to learn about this guy in Math!

  • Comment removed

  • Everyone has this "power"....it just has to be accessed somehow....someway.

  • the numbers thing reminds me of black ops

  • hes a god!!

  • i think everyone is like this...not just autistic people except since there socially awkward etc there brain only focuses on one thing while our brain be all over the place with thought and ideas...i would like to meet someone without autism who can control there brain like this

  • You know what's funny....I need to walk back and forth all the time to think at my best potentials. Seriously, you'll find me walking back and forth from one room or another while I contemplate on something creative (sometimes whispering and moving my hands). If still I'm not even half as good at thinking out 'things' and I'm a brilliant student.

Is there any link you think?

  • autism seems like a mutation much like blue eyes, random, but successful and might be the next step of evolution

  • A extremly interesting documentary. I really see these children as gifted with an amazing gift!

  • Can someone come hit me on the head with a bat?

  • @Conaan70

    Whahahah

  • @Conaan70 i can

  • @Conaan70

    LMAO.

Most of us are asleep on this planet.

The right blow to the head will wake us from our robotic lifestyles.

  • @Conaan70 yeh sure give me a minute!

  • @Conaan70

    PFFT! that won't work!

  • careful what you wish for

  • @Conaan70 i'll do it!

  • @Conaan70

    with pleasure

  • What is the name of the documentary this is from?

  • genius in latin means spirit and this is not some "brain" that does this extraordinary things it's his spirit, it is his spiritual essence and its depth which is responsible for this.all these "scientists" who always struggle to understand these prodigies could never do so until they realize that we are spirit i.e. virtual reality, quantum energy and this beloved "brain" of theirs can be studied realistically only subjectively that is by oneself through our own consciousness.

  • My son 10 yrs old with Aspergers is in a contest with Wataah! He's been playing guitar for little over a year. He is able to learn songs so quickly it's hard to keep up with him. Hope you like it! Please give him positive feedback, he's 10. Thanks!

Show me WAT-YOU-GOT! Musical Performance - Terry (on you tube)

  • Autism is so cool!

  • These children are in the now." Our society is so fast paced, that we do not stop to observe and truely experience the physical experience. I consider these children to be gifted.

  • I'VE NEVER CRAVED TO GET HIT WITH A BASEBALL TIL THIS DAY!

  • i bet the guy telling the weather and day of the week of any day just says the "answer" with enough confidence to make people believe him
