Go compile a mud server that is already been made. The ones that are out there are stable and have been around for about 15 years and in constant development. 1st rule of programming, kid, don't reinvent the wheel, which is exactly what you are doing here.

It is a good start, but I would not do anything really big text-based.You mi9ght want to make a game like that in simple 2D, using SDL. You will also learn new things. And I would also dig into data structures to hold all your data in a more organized way. Anyway, learning programming at your age is already an achievement!

You should try CamStudio. Doesn't have to be high def or anything, but it would be much easier than trying to hold a camera steady. Maybe even combine some actual footage with screen recording, it makes it easier to demo without taking away from the personality.

Game looks nice so far, keep it up.
