Max Weinberg is truly great, and never more so than in this performance. Watch him hold it together ... Brilliant in every sense of the word. And someone below said it needs to go into a time capsule to show the kids of tomorrow how it is done. AGREE!!!
I was there at Hyde park it was great concert Bruce & the boys were fantastic great feeling being there hopefully might be able to pick up a couple for this year at hard rock 2012
This needs to be saved in a time capsule. That way when the next millenium comes and somebody asks, they can hear what music is supposed to sound like.
I love Bruce Springsteen! I was there at Hyde Park and every time I see this video it makes me smile, even though now I get a bit upset when I see Clarence.
He looks younger now than the mid 90s check vids of the ghost of tom joad era and think you will agree he looks in even better shape now than he did then
Never have i, or probably even you... see a musician who loves doing what they do more, who's smile radiates thru the atmosphere while doing what they love, who's music - is TRULY their passion, more than Bruce Springsteen. When i see Bruce playing live on stage like this in front of thousands, so humble - and smiling all the way thru the song, even while out of breath after coming back from greeting the audience....it is impossible to not smile back, wow...HE, is a gift to music.......
was never a Bruce fan.. But i can't lie as a musician i teared up a little for Clemens solo.. Guy was loving life doing what he was put on this earth to do.. I'll respect u always Rest in Peace.. Music lost a good one..
Clarence Clemons, what a legend! He touched so many who listened to him. One of my favourites is his solo at the end of Jungleland!!! Purely amazing. Music so ahead of its time!!. Just glad I can say I saw this amazing band live! RIP Big Man, show God how to really play the sax xxx
Watch him live during the Born In The USA tour. Absolutely fantastic especially since the show lasted four hours. Worth every minute and every dollar. Rest In Peace Clarence
