I miss classic because people had to help each other.Needing 40 people to run a raid made everyone want to work together. Now a days to many guild can't get anything going because members are lazy or pugging because they can just farm badges for gear .Or you run into small groups of players that are clearing content but treat everyone else like crap because they only need 9 other people to clear content.The old days people worked with each other and not tore each other down.

This is from when wow was good. the first expansion and on is what ruined the game. the game is bad now, and it will always be bad, but know that it was not always bad. There was a time when the game was good, but that was a long time ago, when a company named blizzard existed, and not a moneymongering corporate puppetmaster.

I'm glad you responded, because now I can tell you. Back in 2004 the game was released by a company called Blizzard. They were known for their Starcraft and Warcraft franchises, as well as the series of Diablo games. WoW had a good couple years running. The game was challenging, and people were coming up with different strategies for PvP every day. There were no cross-server BGs or 'daily' quests. Classes had no resillience, so the better your gear was, the more damage you'd do. It was fun.

You are without just as clueless as all the other pre-BC fanboys out there who whine and cry about losing their easy-mode pre-BC. That's right!  I just called it "easy-mode"!! Why? Because it was easy! Compared to BC and WotLK it is beyond easy. It covered up this fact with a crappy RNG system that force players to run the same easy instances over and over again in order to gear up.

There was nothing "challenging" nor "rewarding" about pre-BC.

I wasn't under the impression DAILIES existed in pre-BC as well, the UPER EASY way to make gold. Also, I wasn't aware in pre-BC of the MOUNT LEVEL REQUIREMENT DROPPING and the cost getting REDUCED TO NEXT TO NOTHING. Thanks for educating me about how easy pre-BC was. /sarcasm

Why you think it does is beyond me. Just because something takes time to do, doesn't mean it was hard to do.

The real challenge of any game should be in how well the enemies fight you, not in how long it takes you to open a treasure chest.

Here's the truth, scrub, the raid bosses of pre-BC were easy. Compared to the raid bosses of BC and WotLK they are pathetically easy.

You want to know how hard WotLK raids are? Just ask the top raiding guild in Europe and their experiences with Lich King 25-man Heroic. I believe they call it, "the hardest encounter to date."

You complain about players having new abilities. So what was Blizzard suppose to do? Not give players new tools? You are the blind one here if you think giving players a new skill to learn is making things easy.

The game is how it should of been from the start. Gear is just a bonus for doing the content, and playing the game is the true reward.

Then, a company called Activision began looking into ingesting them. Nearing the end of 'vanilla' WoW, Blizzard was no more, and vivendi had merged with activision to create a terrible being known as Activision Blizzard. AB, as i will call them, released the first expansion soon after. The first expansion, while having some things that were beneficially integral to the game, mostly ruined it.

By raising the level cap, all of the work that previous players had done in raids and instances was rendered pointless. All of their gear was useless and the new items were such a higher item level that uncommon gear made epics from pre-BC look like gray items. With this expansion also introduced Resillience, one of the worst things they've ever done. It soon became one of the most sought-after stats for PvPers, changing the whole aspect of gear.

I forgot to mention how off-kilter they were when it came to balancing classes. Warlocks, for the bulk of the first expansion, were almost entirely restricted to one talent spec. It was all terrible. About a year goes by, the lore of the game is destroyed when you are able to kill Illidan and lol draenei were made into the worst retcon in warcraft history, and a new area is released where daily quests are made available. Slowly you can see how the game is made more casual and therefore, easier.

lol in vanilla, things was really fucked up. spirit on shaman gear, rogues was op as hell, most classes only had 1 viable spec, palas was just there for buffs and maybe healing etc it wasnt really balanced. resilience is NOT a bad thing. in vanilla, ppl in naxx gear could two shot anyone. so ppl that only did pvp and had their pvp gear equipped got pwned by ppl who had never done pvp before.

He can be found in Ahn Quiraj...a lvl 60 raid dungeon...there are lots of them...its an egyptian styled theme dungeon...u can find it in Sithilus..but u will need to be lvl 50 at least and have a raid group
