@ipspots1 Yeah except that "Y2K" was a government based fear campaign and 2012 is predicted by many ancient civilizations and we are currently facing an unnaturally high frequency of volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes. Also, the date December 21, 2012 is merely the beginning date in countdown, not THE end date. Until then we must wait and see, but this weather is eerie.

@ClaviusPH No we aren't experiencing a higher frequency of natural occourances.They have been a part of the Earth's normal activity since its inception. Earthquakes are a reaction to the Earths plates shifting. The Western American continent used to be attached to Europe, and now is seperated by the Atlantic ocean.. Due to the plate shift.Tsunamis are the result of Earthquakes centering in an ocean. Very natural, and all will continue to happen. Quit trying to SCARE people with your ignorance

@ClaviusPH So are you uneducatable? The Earth is 4.5 billion y/o & the Spring pendulum Seismometer was developed in 1751 , 260 years of data recorded, I'd say thats a drop of water in the ocean. Secondly ,you will have to agree that a rise in number of Earthquakes is ACTUALLY better for civilization since it is better for the plates to bleed of the stored energy in small amounts then for it to build up over a long period of time.
