Going back through some games to get achievements and came upon Good Samaritan--couldn't get past Wave 30. Great solution--worked perfectly. Thanks for sharing. For those still going for this and having problems, make sure your character placement is exactly as shown in the video--that should clear up any issues.

For some reason, a purple wolf gets through, the yellow "Plague" a few get through, and from there on it just gets messy. I had to add in a lvl 3 mage and soldier on the right just to cut some HP out and kill them on the last corner...and the boss, two of them keep getting through. Is the dmg different between games? I'm using a PS3 version.

I don't believe there to be any difference. I tried this same strategy on a PSP with identical results. Besides, this video is actually from the PS3 version (the lower right hand corner has the Confirm button visible after each wave, with the trademark blue X).

@beatpeitsi I found my problem. My white monks were a half block to the south. I didn't realize that little tiny thing could change the entir outcome of the map. It's weird because they cover the same amount of pathway. I guess it's the reaction time on the monks?

Anyway, got my trophy. Thanks a bunch for posting the video :D

Yes, I also found out by repetition, while devising this strategy, that a single off spot might prove to be fatal. And more often than not, it was.

Worked PERFECTLY. Another guide I watched, which was more aimed towards mass-building than upgrading, did NOT work perfectly. Which shows that your guide was superior. And now I got my trophy. :)

This guide works!! Pause between every wave to read the message boxes on what to do and it works out very easy to follow. I got the Good Samaritan trophy on PS3 just now by following this very guide 10/10.. Well Done!

Excellent video that does what it says perfectly, gets you the trophy (achievement in my case, for you 360 owners) on Bigsa Greenlands without a hassle. If you actually follow the guide 100%, it's a sure thing. The guide is a lot better done than any of the other ones I looked at with all the notations and such, and you don't have to hassle around with all those damn crystals.

So for anyone who is having problems, you're placing your guys wrong.
