My middle school band played this and we nailed it! We took it to a big mid-west competition in St. Louis and got Gold Ratings. I played timpani. I love the end with the big presto at the end with the crazy timpani roll.

ah, the whole entire piece the horns play nothing but offbeat eighth notes, but we finally have a good part in the middle with the trumpets.
