It's laughable that you talk about originality... when you're one of hundreds of other "vloggers" who are in some way "hiding their identity" and bitching about popular channels. The vlogbrothers have repeatedly mentioned that their primary inspiration is from Ze-Frank by the way so that is not a "rip off". Also, Ze was at Vidcon, and involved with the P4A.
It is the attendees who paid who are the morons. I am sure that the people who have a large number of subscribers that attended got in for free. Having a lot of high subscriber people makes it more attractive to the attendees who you want to pay.
about youtube.....why is fast food so popular? because people are about instant gratification rather than consuming something that acually nourishes and tastes good.

From what I read from an entertainment reporter that popped into vidcon is that the attendees are mostly starstruck kids that don't know any better.
