The 12th amendment is used when none of the candidates get at least a majority of 270 or more votes out of the 538 electoral votes, in which the house of representatives decides the election. In every state but Maine and Nebraska, if a presidential candidate wins in amount of popular votes (the people's votes) in the state, then all of the state's electoral votes go to that candidate. In an election with over 100,000,000 people voting, that is pretty much the equivalent of "a few" votes. Plus, the better man ended up winning. While I am not a fan of Bush, I would take him any day over Al Gore. I would pick just about anybody besides Obama and Jimmy Carter over Al Gore.

@Saltwaterowl I don't know if that is your theory, or someone elses, but that makes no sense. For 1, where did the aluminum come from? Two, I don't think molten aluminum could travel through ducting as the ducting is thin and would melt from the heat. And probably the most important fact is that molten aluminum is not explosive. Whoever came up with that probably got molten aluminum confused with powdered aluminum which is an ingredient in thermite, and it would take a whole bunch of it.

@Saltwaterowl I never heard that from TV. I should explain aluminum and water better though. You can create an "explosion" with molten aluminum if water gets trapped, but there is no flame involved. It is similar do trying to deep fry a frozen turkey. When the aluminum hits the water, it instantly boils and expands, and if it is trapped under the molten aluminum it can "explode", but even on a large scale in a building like that, the most it would do is blow out windows. It can't bend supports.

In an election with over 100,000,000 people voting, that is pretty much the equivalent of "a few" votes. Plus, the better man ended up winning. While I am not a fan of Bush, I would take him any day over Al Gore. I would pick just about anybody besides Obama and Jimmy Carter over Al Gore.

Two, I don't think molten aluminum could travel through ducting as the ducting is thin and would melt from the heat. And probably the most important fact is that molten aluminum is not explosive. Whoever came up with that probably got molten aluminum confused with powdered aluminum which is an ingredient in thermite, and it would take a whole bunch of it.

@Saltwaterowl I never heard that from TV. I should explain aluminum and water better though. You can create an "explosion" with molten aluminum if water gets trapped, but there is no flame involved. It is similar do trying to deep fry a frozen turkey. When the aluminum hits the water, it instantly boils and expands, and if it is trapped under the molten aluminum it can "explode", but even on a large scale in a building like that, the most it would do is blow out windows. It can't bend supports.
