I just built an enclosure just like this one. My speakers aren't as good though. (MB Quart Premiums). How does that enclosure sound firing that way? When I face my speakers like that they don't sound as good as if they were firing backward.

well first off if you run two batteries you need to make sure they are the same batteries or they will draw power from each other and your alternator will have to work constantly therefor frying it.

Sounding loud and pressuring are 2 totally different things. Yes playing off the back wall gives tim to build the wave before coming forward sometimes resulting in better spl. But 99% of the time is will play higher db facing forward. May not sound like and will definatly not sound as clean but it will pull better numbers. I promise you a wall VS. trunk facing wall wil yeild at least a 3 to 5 DB increase provinding the wall it built right.
